OldTricksterNik Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Certain places on ice planet tileset emit garbled, distorted noise. Sound seems to be produced by ice. (ice crackling noise gets distorted?) Shooting near the place where the sound originates from stops the noise. It's like the ambient noise for the ice cored area doesn't load properly or play with the right frequency the first time. Area where it happened for reference: https://i.imgur.com/yQVV80r.jpg Once I'd been around the area a bit and out/back, the ambient noise seemed to play fine (ice creaking ending in a quiet/echoy 'bang, bang, bang'). I noticed the static earlier had ended in 3 distinct pulses as it faded each cycle, so it seems likely the same sound but played in an odd way initially.
