Weapon Switching Issue when Melee Equipped

When pressing F to switch weapons when you have a melee weapon in hand, it just takes out the last weapon you had in hand rather than switching it.

Expected behavior:

Have primary in hand
Press E to melee
Melee is in hand
Want to take out my secondary
Press F to switch weapons
Secondary is equipped in hand

Current behavior:

Have primary in hand
Press E to melee
Melee is in hand
Want to take out my secondary
Press F to switch weapons
Primary is equipped in hand
Have to press F again to equip secondary in hand
