How much disc space does the "optimization" operation requires?

Each time there's some new content and we get the "Would you like to optimize Warframe and save x mb" message, why don't you had how much disc space is necessary to perform that operation? After the mainline, I had 30 gb free disc space, and yet, the optimization process halted at 98%, and at that time there were only 400 mb free space left on my disc. I had to restart my PC, and I'm not sure the "optimization" didn't just add garbage on my disc! Since the whole process does take a big chunk of time, I'd like to know in advance if I'm going to waste my time starting it.

Anyway, I do appreciate your efforts to clean up the dead-weight, I'd just like to have a head's up on wether my system can benefit from it or not.

yeah same here,  less disc space after optimization. turned from 694 GB to 686 GB
