Upgraded an equipped Riven on under cap weapon

I recently upgraded a Dark Dagger riven that was equipped on the rakata weapon. It warned me that i didnt have enough capacity to keep the card on which i knew. When i went to forma the weapon all the cards including the upgraded riven where still equipped with a negative capacity. i was still able to remove and equip the card as if i had enough cap
