Inochi
Do not understand why DE is losing this opportunity to earn lots of money, letting us create Operator's hairstyles, faces/bodies and Operator's costumes. D:
(PSN)haphazardlynamed
Probably cause it'd be a weeb-fest of animu girl skins, and DE doesn't want to spoil the game's tone?
Inochi
il y a 22 minutes, (PS4)haphazardlynamed a dit : Probably cause it'd be a weeb-fest of animu girl skins, and DE doesn't want to spoil the game's tone? Well, the tennogen stuff is voted by the community and they are costume itens, so.. what's the problem add something the community voted for? and I don't see how this can change the "game tone" giving the player the option to customize his character. Maybe if was the possibility to transform the warframes in a "humanized version" could change the tone, but the operator has a human appearance and also, let's agree for a second about the "changing the game tone" this just apply to the face/body customs, because ppl can make some "ecchi" versions of the operator, but.. Hairstyles? the lack of Operator's Hairstyles in the tennogen is DE losing money hard.
Scruffel
Well the thing is, body suits is something that they were working on in implementing into TennoGen. Not sure about how hairstyles though since that maybe a restricted section for in-house development. But how would body and face TennoGen even work? You could only do so many body types and facial structures before everything is just a slight alteration of what already exists. And plus having to rig new body models (and facial flexes) is something that DE has already avoided in the past with Warframes skins. I don't think it's an issue about losing money, more of an issue what is technically possible for both the developers and TennoGen artists. Also, the community votes on Steam aren't really taken into consideration for an item to be accepted, if that's what you're talking about stuff that the 'community voted' for. Swaggernaut64
According to Geoff, he said that Tennogen suits would be coming in soon as the next slot for Tennogen artists to work on (I asked him IRL at Tennocon, so I wouldn't say this is concretely confirmed since they are pretty busy with other stuff
