Friend got "abducted"

Me and another friend (friend 1) are playing with my other friend (friend 2) who has just started the game.

We had just finished a mission and we had a random player (unknown) still in the squad.

Friend 2 had to go afk after the mission finished so he just got up and left, whilst still in the squad.

Unknown player started a mission vote, me and friend 1 decline.

Unknown player starts the mission countdown, me and friend 1 press the X button and are kicked from the lobby, friend 2 doesn't select anything. Unknown player also leaves the squad.

Now the weird thing is that, on my afk friend 2's screen hes just on the orbiter not doing anything.. yet other people are joining and leaving his party as if he is still matchmaking.. all whilst he is actually afk.

Someone joins his party and votes for a mission.. hes then dragged into a survival mission even though he wasn't there.

 

The reason I could see all this was that we were sharing screens on discord, so I could see firsthand what was happening. Hopefully this made sense lol
