A Bow Archgun

A bow archgun sounds like it could be a great idea.

The only problem now is that using archguns (in atmosphere) is very buggy & frustratingly so.  DE really needs to find a permanent fix to this problem before they release any new archguns.

Got Fluctus for the time being. It's a crossbow.

It's not. Where is the arrow? Ah that's right, there is none.

I don’t think I need to say more. I just think that’s an awesome idea.

I was actually thinking about this a few days back, very much a fan of the idea! :]

Yeah, and they still need to get that buff that was mentioned.

I agree and in space most relativistic weapons are going to be about chucking as much mass as possible as fast as possible. A great big ballista actually makes a lot of sense.

But, in gameplay terms, you have a charge up weapon that does less damage if released early, which is basically the Velocitus with travel time. It would have to do massive damage (or massive crit, space Dread anyone?) to be worthwhile.

That’s like comparing Lanka to Dread.

If you swapped Dread's physical damage for pure electric damage, then yeah it would be a pretty apt comparison.

It would basically be a scope-less Lanka.
