BonyTvisp
Should we expect a version for Linux?
Lion
Unlikely. Much as I love Linux, it's nowhere near mainstream and thus would not justify the resources spent on making a Linux client.

Warframe don't need separated Linux version, just Vulkan API for all platforms Edited April 14, 2019 by BonyTvisp

Also Warframe use DirectX 11 for it's graphics as well as whatever DE's Evolution engine handle's. Which means if they wanted to do a version of Warframe for Linux they would have to spend a lot of time and money to get even a working test version for Linux and doing all that would most definitely cause quite a delay to PC updates which would in turn cause console updates to also be delayed heavily. So really Cons outweigh the Pros in the sense of making a Linux version.

Vulkan helps with GPU bottlenecks, of which Warframe has almost none due to already being highly GPU efficient and therefore the bottlenecks are all CPU side, which Vulkan has little to no impact on.
