Sands of Inaros glitch

My wife and I were working on the Sands of Inaros quest today, I had previously filled my vessel for the 3rd time, and she had not filled hers for the 3rd time. We went to kill the Grineer Maniacs needed to fill hers, which we did, and her vessel now appears full. The problem is that the quest is still requiring her to fulfill the 3rd vessel's challenge when we've already completed it twice (we did it again just to make sure it was truly filled). We went in to the final battle before realizing that it hadn't accepted hers as being completed the first time and killed the guardian which finished the quest for me. She didn't get the systems blueprint, and we tried to fill the vessel again after we realized that the quest didn't update for her.
