MysticTheif Posted April 20, 2019 Share Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) For anyone who has seen the Arbiters Revisited post you are aware about DE's idea for reviving enemies with Arbiters of Hexis Points (Resurgence Burden). This idea could be further pushed with a perk system found in games like Call of Duty Zombies and Team Fortress 2 MvM. These Perks are temporary boosts to players helping them survive longer then they usually would. Perks added to Arbiters would attract long endurance players with a new way to kill the enemies and a better way to stay alive. These Perks would work by a machine placed near the spawn or center of the map. Here the player can buy perks using their AH Points gathered from dead Arbitration Drones. This Machine could also be the extraction, and reward shop for players to gather around. The player could use points to buy rewards putting them in an extraction box until they leave. When the player wants to extract they enter a phase were the machine turns into a defense objective causing all players to fight until the extraction point is open. Here are some Idea Perks with some Concept art. Enhance Perk Spoiler This perk will amplify the Warframe's speed, strength, and armor as well as a resistance to knock back damage Chromatic Perk Spoiler This perk will summon one of 4 rings. Ice, Fire,Toxin, and electricity Ice freezes enemies for 5 seconds. Fire overheats weapons and forces enemies to melee. Toxin contaminate enemies causing them to spawn toxin clouds on death. Electricity explodes on impact. Ally Perk Spoiler Ally Perk Summons and NPC in the Warframe Universe like Clem, Maroo, and perhaps Ordis. Each of these characters scale up to the current level of enemies Extra-Life Perk Spoiler Extra-Life Perk adds an extra life to the person purchasing. Pick up Ally system still applies. Vampire Perk Spoiler When this perk is activated a timer will go off in which the more enemies you kill the more the tank fills up healing all players after said timer is up. If all players are full health the tank will persist until perk reactivated or drains out from healing. Exalted Perk Spoiler Exalted Perk equips the player with weapons of mass destruction with limited ammo Boss Perk Spoiler Boss Perk summons any Boss stopping any more Perk purchases and forcing a fight among the players and the boss. When the boss is killed each player will receive an exponential growth in their Resurgence Burdens. Trap Perk Spoiler Trap Perks generate snares that stop the enemies from attacking If you have any comments or issues with this post please comment. Somehting like 0.5% of whatever damage you deal will heal you for a certain period of time. One tremendous mass-heal is barely useful to stay alive since you normally either not receiving any damage at all or have your own way of damage mitigation like one of the healing mods on a melee weapon. In both cases healing most likely will went off when everyone are on full health or slightly scratched instead of when it's actually needed. Or after charging it may act as Oberon's Phoenix Renewal and on receiving fatal damage prevent it and heal you while consuming this buff. Similar to an extra life in a way.
