Syndicates: A Better Way to Show Your Loyalty

So Syndicates have been a thing for a long time. The system is good with the rank and reputation system which is no doubt why the same idea was coopted into Fortuna and Cetus. 

However, despite how good the system is there is one glaring problem that many Tenno have no doubt encountered. 

The Problem

What do you have to do every time you change a faction? You go in and change the syndicate sigil you've equipped to all your warframes.

Reputation is tied to sigils of factions which limits players ability to equip sigils. Players must equip the max rank sigil in order to maximise their reputation earning. They cannot wear other sigils which they otherwise might prefer to wear.

This results in a lack of freedom of choice when equipping sigils (not unlike how equipping itzal as an archwing is currently seen as a problem) and creates frustration when you decide to switch factions.

The Solution

An interactable object in your orbiter that displays your faction allegiance 

It'd be so simple, a slight reskin of the Ludoplex with a faction symbol displayed on top instead of the current lightshow. It would be described as some sort of radio transmitter that announces your allegiance to the Tenno community and beyond. Whenever you want to switch factions you'd just hop on over to the transmitter and it's done in seconds. You could use the location opposite the current radio in the orbiter to house this feature.

Faction % gains could be moved from the sigils to a new upgrade for each faction that you can acquire from their rep shop as normal and which would upgrade your rep earn rate the same way buying a better sigil each rank would. Each upgrade would be described as increasing the transmitter's strength or output, resulting in greater reputation gain.

Acquiring this transmitter should be fairly simple, either via the market, via nightwave (as it's a radio system it'd be a good tie in) or simply giving it free when you join your first syndicate.

The benefits of this system would be:

More cosmetic sigil availablility for players. Both in terms of how we use syndicate sigils and having either the back or front spaces available for a sigil we actually want to use. 

No tedious faffing around swapping sigils for 30+ warframes which is currently anti-fun.
