What if we had MODS

Well we have Tennogen skins. That's pretty damn good already.

It might be neat to add in consumable items (like void keys) which could "mod" the mission we go into for fun difficulty options (similar to what Nightmare already does, but maybe with more options), but that's about as far as I could see it going.

Well, people probably already made some semblance of it with the customization options available. That's just natural progression with mods.

Octavia has a skin that kinda works. I call it the Hatsune Miku skin.

In Neverwinter Online there was an entire system for players to create custom quests and build custom maps for them. Most of them ended up being better than the company-made quests. The enemies and loot were handled by the game.

Visual modding would be fine as long as it is only client side.

It would be a bit easy to abuse tho. Probably would not be hard making mods that show you immediately where an Ayatan sculpture, rare container, Simaris target, rare resource caches, kubrow dens and wild kavats are.

I dont mean the warframe or weapon mods, i mean adding custom quests, frames, weapons, whatever.

What if DE suddenly went "warframe now has mod support", ignoring all the technical issues.

What would the modding landscape look like. I my self would get a mod that would make ember at least usable at the mid-high level.

If someone creates a game like this will be rich...
