A Railjack Idea: "Relocation" Missions

I had an idea when discussing possibilities of new missions that would stem from the release of Railjack and I decided to put it into writing. If you don't trust Google, the explanation is copypasted here. If you do trust Google links, here it is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1l1OGGMlKdelLzUB1ou6wx_Z3-RihihG8jhML6zgE_Hk/edit?usp=sharing

Relocation Missions:
*an idea for the upcoming Railjacks of Warframe

Everyone knows that Lotus mentions there are reinforcements available following the end of rotations on defense. What if other Tenno could be those reinforcements? This new ‘mission type’ would only be available following a defense objective completion after 30 waves and extraction of the squad defending it. (For our purposes, the object being defended is the cryo pod)

Since this might be confusing if you were to look at it in one paragraph, I’ll split it into phases.

Phase 1: This would work like a hijack mission. Your mission is to transport the Objective from its resting location (on the defense tileset) to an Extraction Point. Enemies do not spawn in immediately, but there is a 5-10 second delay before they do start spawning after you initiate the TD from its starting point (probably the same point as the extraction point). The Objective and TD would both be accessible to the squad at this point. The enemy spawns would be equal to that of what the defense team was fighting until extraction. This would require you to first: bring in the TD, second: load the Objective into the TD, and third: get to extraction with the TD intact. The device (not the objective) would be susceptible to damage at all points during this phase.

Phase 2: This is where the Railjack really gets involved. The Objective and TD are loaded into the Railjack where in which you ‘Relocate’ the Objective to a new location. You can select a destination, but traveling further away from your point of origin will be more challenging, but also rewarding (slightly). This would entail space combat with pursuers in your Railjack until reaching the destination.

Phase 3: This would work like hijack missions, however, it would be reversed. You unload the TD with the Objective loaded on at a drop point. Then, your job is to ensure the safe arrival of the TD to the new storage location. The conclusion of this phase would probably be kin to an extermination mission, where you kill the remainder of your pursuers, and for lore purposes, this would be to prevent the leakage of the Objective’s new location to the enemy command, much like what Lotus says in Spy missions which include an extermination objective.
