There are opportunities to earn Platinum in through trade, however, there are also a lot of unwanted relics and prime items too.

Another update has dropped, but there is still no changes made to fix this problem.

i say make them sellable for ducats something like 1 ducat per relic, or make them transmutable, or make them dis-solvable into tracers (i would love than option)

Those are good suggestions. 

I would accept any changes that will enable Players to get rid of large abundance of relics, without having to do Fissure missions or trade.
