Gamemode Concept for Gas City: Ascension

Imagine a tall tower, with gas climbing up slowly. You spawn and begin to ascend the tile set with various traps and lasers, combining the fast paced gameplay warframe is known for, and a high skill ceiling for endgame players, that breaks away from the gear they have and simply relies on their speed and skill. The gas climbs faster and faster and you have to outrun it. There are exit points positioned at every 5 minutes up the tower, leading outside to extraction.

The gas floods from the ground up, and slowly increases in speed, the tile set is full of upward platforms and perhaps even moving platforms. Cold traps, Lasers, and very select enemies. The tower gets harder as you climb and introduces higher damaging laser grids and faster speed required. Targets similar to the ones in the MR Challenges will open various doors.

The devs would build this by despawning rooms below the gas, and spawning new modular rooms on top, the rooms move downward and the player must keep up.

This gamemode rewards practice and is a true endgame away from the traditional, it’s fast and exciting which makes use of warframes core gameplay while ignoring the wired scaling, you don’t have to build to a meta for this game mode you just have to be skilled. It also brings back that old void gameplay but it brings the time ceiling down for endgame players from 5 hour mots to 1 hour and it’s just as impressive. You would have to have a good number of rooms to keep it fresh and innovative, perhaps having some new enemy types etc

REWARDS: 

5 minutes: 10.000 credits

10 minutes: Falcon Mod Pack + 10.000 credits

15: Ascension Sigil 30.000 credits etc

etc... at this point you could introduce some mods etc maybe exclusive stances etc perhaps a new set of mods 

1 hour: Wings of The Ascended (exclusive syandana not purchasable) + 200.000 credits

rewards aside, great idea! We need more speedrun type missions imho. Only problem is frames like titania, zephyr and Valkyr could potentially remove any challenge depending how the level is built.

Val and Zeppy seem like the only ones who could truly break this (Ripline augment and high efficiency Zeppy build + some range). quick Ivara players could probably also break it, as well as Wisp when she comes out (if her tp ability can go upwards).
The only way to counteract this is to fill the area with a nullifier shield

the wings of the ascended sound really cool... only question is, would you be able to take breaks during this? not by solo pause menu but stuff like the extract rooms (i imagine the gas would stop at those points so the player can decide what to do)
And maybe 30m instead of an hour because i dont think a lot of people are gonna suffer for an hour just for a syandana! and i've only just beaten Hollow Knights 'Path of Pain' and i don't want to re-live it in the form of this tower
