ShadowZeroFlame
So, some frames come with their own armor, like Volt, Banshee, Frost and Oberon. Same goes for prime versions, but why only Volt Prime can use both normal and Prime Shoulders?! Have anyone asked this question to DE before? LSG501
Well at least in the case of oberon the 'shoulders' aren't the same so they wouldn't fit right, so my assumption would be there are differences in the models where they don't fit right. Players have asked about it in the past.

Different shoulders.... this is what DE said and it's pretty obvious if you look at it in all honesty
