My prediction for the new set mods.

No one is gonna use them except for Zephyr to float around and meme.

I just don't see enough incentive to use them unless most of them can fit in exilus because they're even more niche than the last ones.

Higher double jump? Less gravity? Where we have bullet jump to cover all of our mobility?

Hello, devs?

Are we even playing the same game anymore?!

The remastered Jupiter tileset, maybe something else in the future.

So we're going to create mods now out of the sensationalism to traverse the reworked Jupiter?

I'm sorry if I don't share the enthusiasm, but I feel like personal mobility has never been a major issue in this game whatsoever since bullet jump.

For as long as 80% of the meaningful content consists of stationary "protect this and wait" missions, mobility will never be a facet that is rewarded.

Hell, even the new game mode looks like it's just mobile defense and Onslaught at the same time.

I myself haven't changed my warframe build for years and got no problems with mobility, but someone (probably mostly beginners) will surely use these mods on their way to success. (if the mods don't drop with 1% chance, that is).

As for other players and myself included, going to farm it out and i guess that's it. Maybe in the future there will be a need for these mods, in a new gamemode, raid, future tilesets or smth else.

There's not much to predict unless they come up with something that requires parkour skills and focuses on movement. Reworked Jupiter is a step in the right direction,  some rooms require more than just a bulletjump to get from one end to another, but still, not going to butcher my warframe build in favor of these new mods. (though i personally might take a rifle / shotgun and slap these mods in combination with amalgam ones for some stat bonuses)

I'm honestly so excited for these new mods. We don't need anymore mods, so why not just give us some fun ones. It's not about what's necessary, but I already feel confident some pretty fun/strong builds will come from the new mods, so I can't wait to start experimenting.

Anyways, the Exilus suggestion has been around since forever. People always bring it up when there are new unique mods that aren't required for their builds. Just change the build if you really want to use it. It's really that simple. These mods are far from necessary and probably won't even be useful for most. I put parkour mods and arcanes on almost every single one of my builds. These mods aren't for everybody, but I will gladly change my builds for a few of them.

That being said, there's probably no need to worry. I assume most will be Exilus anyways just based on how most movement mods currently are.

I wish I could share your optimism, but for so long as the grind remains as extraordinary as it is, "fun builds" simply aren't allowed.

For all these woes about mods, frame balance, weapon viability, etc., the central point of contention is all about alleviating the grind.

This is just one facet that ignores the issue at hand and that's what frustrates me.

I can't disagree with that.

More 'fun' stuff sounds pleasant to me.  "More powerful" mods and items feel like a farce around the point of the game where you can complete any content comfortably, and could only conceivably make repeating the same old thing faster or fight arbitrarily higher level enemies in endless missions, imo.  I don't really care about more mods that are just a statistical damage/survival upgrade to another one I already have outside of the occasional dripfeed of them through new logins and baro

I wont personally be using any of them because all my builds are tight enough as it and I would have to sacrifice a useful mod for a meme one and I would need a full set to make use of them properly. It the same way with most augments as well so I rarely use those except for Nova, Frost, Rhino and mesa because Mesa's Waltz is a survivability upgrade and lets you make the most out of your energy using peace maker. give us more slots for the crappy mods and people will use them but otherwise it is a waste of development time... (Unless you live to be a meme specialist and will eat these mods up in your wonky builds.)

I usually run these niche mods for a few days and then unequip them, never to be used again. I would rather DE adds maybe 1 or 2 exilus slots so we could fit them in on our very tight build or add some base stats so we could consider using them (like the amalgam mods).

Hey, I wouldn't sneeze at some of these mods separately, because ones like Motus Setup (+100% Crit Chance and Status for Double/Bullet Jumping) sounds extremely good for hybrid or crit Shotgun weapons in general.

It's a short duration, and it depends if it's multiplicative or additive. An additive bonus would make it nuts.

While it is a short duration, I feel like it won't matter too much since you can already bullet jump pretty quickly and low to the ground. Hopefully it can be easily reset by just continuously doing so.

Inb4 it doesn't reset and it's a bugged mess like the old dual toxocyst where it you need to wait out the whole duration to start again
