Before they change Desecrate to toggle ability, we were able to loot same body(or gore) multiple times if all Nekros cast the abiility at the same time. The toggle change is to prevent from looting repeatedly, and now DE "fixed" it. I don't think we can desecrate 2+ times unless you have high latency or something that will cause this to happen. Let me get this straight, instead of disabling looting abilities on Silver Grove Specters you took a sledgehammer to looting ability synergies. Bravo. You even have the gall to call this a "fix" when it's really just a nerf. Now the criminally absurd mutagen requirements for Hema research will be even more tedious. This complaint isn't a screed against change, change can be a good thing. That said this is a bad change. If mindlessly stacking looting abilities caused the problem, maybe a more constructive change is in order. Maybe something like this: Ivara (Prowl): Loots a living enemy, no modifiers can apply. Atlas (Ore Gaze): Alters the drop table and increases the blueprint drop rate while retaining a minor resource drop rate increase. Applies on death. Khora (Pilfering Stangledome): Alters the drop table to favor uncommon and rare resource drops - like upgrading a relic. Also applies to the module drop table. Applies on death. Hydroid (Pilfering Swarm): Increases the amount of resources and credits dropped. Does not alter the module drop table. Applies on death. Nekros (Desecrate)/Chesa (Retrieve): Rerolls the entire drop table, all modifiers preserved. Desecrate retains the ability to loot dismembered corpses as if they were multiple corpses. This way people can focus on what they want while retaining choice in team composition dependent on what the party may want. It gives a more nuanced approach to farming while preserving both the potential to stack looting warframes and the newly desired 2 loots on death (initial+ forced) limit that Steve and company want to impose on us. "Thank you" Exploiters for ruining everything like always, people like YOU, the exploiters, deserve to get banned forever farming with all the frames atleast was a way not succumbing to the pain of farming but no, this happens! Atleast the ones who used the Khora EXP exploit got banned which they deserved. Only issue that I encountered was doing a survival and my game crashed twice in the same round. Game for me is usually super stable and never cashes. I've had 3 since the update. There have been a couple of updates so if these issues have been fixed awesome. Look forward to playing a lot on Jupiter. Keep up the good work DE. The only time 2FA would be more secure than just using my password is if 1) someone got a keylogger on my box, which is doubtful, or 2) someone grabs DE's account database, which would still take longer to crack than it'll take for Warframe to become a reality. The former is clearly 100% my fault if it happens, the later is clearly 100% DE's fault if it happens. I'd expect support to tell me "too bad" in the former case, and that's fine. I'd expect support to revert everything in the later case, which I'd expect even with 2FA. In no scenario related to trading does 2FA actually, practically solve anything, unless you have a super weak password. And if someone uses password123 as their password, they deserve to get hacked. But sure, let's restrict trading to 2FA and call it a "security measure." No way it has anything to do with driving more people to buy stuff directly from the market instead of other players (who will sell it far cheaper than the market). The cost of the reward is shown when you hover over the item, so the extra Puchase click after you select a reward is new and redundant. The interface change to selecting relic rewards is also sort of annoying. The old interface showed me how many of each reward I already had, now it's hidden until I scroll over a reward. That also makes it impossible to see all of the numbers at once. Please add a filter to relic selection for if the relic is vaulted or not. Why is this game so confusing? 😐 The best part of this update is the domestic drone imho. TaigenRaine Posted May 26, 2019 Share Posted May 26, 2019 So, with this nerf (I refuse to call it a 'fix') to looting frames, you ruin synergy in what is supposed to be a game about teamwork. I recently did a lot of grind for syndicates for Pilfer mod, and now I am going to get whined at by every nekros player, because they are the only one that can multi-loot when a body ends up in pieces. Pilfer will prevent that with this nerf, so thanks for that. Also, it's quite stupid since Hydroid pilfer happens at the moment of death, and Nekros is used on an already dead body. These are seperate events. I really do think an extra loot chance should happen Alive for Ivara, on kill for Hydroid/Khora, and consume the body for Nekros/Chesa. Each of these events should not be able to be doubled up on (so each enemy could only possibly give 3 extra loot chances, Nekros would conflict with Chesa, Hydroid would conflict with Khora, and Ivara would conflict with any future ability that stole from the living). However, I can't see any reason why Nekros or Chesa shouldn't be able to consume a body for loot that has been killed by either pilfer mod. Targeted farming (as is usually the case when you are seeking a farming squad) is already way too much of a chore. Let us get it over with so we can enjoy the rest of the game. People being idiots and ranking up stuff in there and then obviously lacking the firepower (or toughness) to deal with the mission is getting annoying. I'm already blinded by all the various effects that are happening at all times, why do I need this annoyingly long and annoyingly big intro to play every time I fight this boss? Hitting escape or something to opt out of the dialogue would be nice. Also muting all messages from lotus in general would be cool.... and ordis... him especially. I think its an attempt of a middle ground between making story based scenarios like Quests, having some of this story development being put inside the boss fight. Personally, I would call her Natah rather than Lotus at this point. My issue is that it takes up the whole screen and there's no way for you to move it aside or push it to the background if you've already seen it. Lotus == Natah To be fair, Lotus was what Natah became after discarding her old self - according to her- it is embodied by the Lotus Mask still on our ship. Natah is the name that the Sentient Formerly Known as Lotus is going by again. To take it the way Natah says during the Ropalolyst fight, I half figured her to say that Lotus was her 'slave name'. STOP make your game. You make it to easy by letting us self revive, you die your ass needs to respawn at the start point when you entered the mission, also as you repeatedly die you will get a count down, this one man show stuff pfffff.... Make them work for it nothing free nothing easy you die start again keep you on your toes boss fight lock it. You die stay dead till boss defeated or all players die then restart if boss fails yep. Kill this no end game to easy cry stuff. Work for it give me give me give me. I don’t want to group in a group game, wtf.... are you serious this is a mmo.... wowwwww. I don’t know how the world still exist with everyone crying give me give me give me. Damn vent my dude. Look your doin a great job DE keep up the good work forget the crying, great game.
