Do Warframe Helmets Work On Their Prime Counterparts?

Thinking about dishing out $99.99 next month for the Excalibur Prime and to become a member of the Design Council, but would the Pendragon Excalibur helmet work with it? I want to know if I'll have to buy a plain ol' Excalibur to use it.

The helmets work but there is no alternate Prime version of it, so it'll just look like the regular helmet on a prime frame.

Lol both of the Excalibur alt helms look weird on the Prime frame, because there's lots of dark grey that cannot be customized. It looks like it would fit much better on the normal Excalibur lol (because of the Excalibur Prime's flashy gold on the arms, back, etc.).

Yeap, but it would look kinda bad, the same way you can put alternate helmets on frost prime :(
