All of my favorite maps are gone

Defense has always been my favorite game mode in the game, but all the maps that I've ever liked are gone. Io has been one of my favorites for years now so losing it makes me more than a little bit upset. I think a lot of maps, the new Io included, are too chaotic with enemies coming from too many places at once. For a lot of maps, Frost seemed to be really a necessity. Io and (before the relatively recent change) Semini on Ceres funneled the enemies in a way that allowed non-AOE frames to hold their own without the help of Frost. There were others too but those were my favorites. It saddens me that if I take my favorite warframe, Valkyr, into a defense mission longer than twenty waves, I feel like I am handicapping my team.

What I personally don't like in the recent (and some not so recent) changes, is that, whoever is designing the new maps and UI changes, has a very strong fetish about few colors: brown, golden, yellow and a million shades of those  3 colors. The new Jupiter is nice, gassy, yellowish, I get it. But so is PoE. Even trees remain yellow when its pouring rain every day. There's too much of the same color that makes things look quite unrealistic. If it were a desert, sure, but it is not. Then we have the UI changes, the relic menu, and don't get me started on the mechanics and visuals during fissure reward screen. The few pixels thick line above the reward itself, is not distinctive enough. The bright-golden rewarding "AHA! WE GOT IT!' moment is gone, too. I had to literally stare at the screen and think about which reward I was actually after. Is this gold? Or is it brown?
And there is the issue with colorblind players who literally can't tell the difference and the entire Jupiter update is like a downgrade for them.
