High status slash primary/secondary?

Question

Looking for a weapon that can achieve 95%-100% status chance (preferably without riven) dealing high slash damage at mid range to long range.  My goal is to kill dudes primarily through bleed damage from slash procs without having to get right in their faces.

Any suggestions?  Right now i'm either thinking Prisma Grinlok or Nagantaka, since i think they can hit 100% with dual status mods plus Hammer Shot or something, so i can go for the slash + viral combo, but i don't know all the weapons.  Are there any weapons that meet my conditions that are suited for level 100+ dudes?

If you don't have a fixation of having to apply slash via status chance, Crit-status hybrid weapons w/ Hunter Munitions like Tiberon P are viable options. Leave the slash procs to HM and use dual stats to build for Viral.

Quick untested build I put together in Builder for the Tiberon P. You can probably do better:

(Per projectile: ~40% chance to proc viral, ~17.5% to proc slash from status, 21% independent chance from HM to proc slash)

For primaries, Hunter Munitions and a lot of Crit is your friend.

Dread is a good option, as are many snipers, which definitely qualify as 'not right in their faces'.

The biggest gripe I have with using HM on slow-firing weapons is their sheer inconsistency. 30% chance per projectile (assuming >=100% CC) isn't exactly good when you're only firing like one round per second.

Though if you can get over that, they do proc some hilariously-powerful slash.

That's the beauty of Dread.

High base status chance as well. Hit that thing up with 60/60 mods for viral and you'll almost never not slash. And god help anything you hit with viral.

But, yes, in general you're right. I usually treat it as a boon, not my main damage source.

Pyrana prime would be a moderate candidate in this case, but do you need the slash for the something specific? Like making body arts for Nekros? Or just the effect?

Because bladed rounds on a Viral Electric crit build Amprex gets outright scary.

Edit: my bad, meant hunter munitions ahyuk!

Primary: Dread, Tigris Prime, Kohm (with a Riven).

Secondary: As someone mentioned, Fusilai.

HM/Viral hybrid Dread works pretty good. Can two shot a level 155 corrupted bombard/heavy gunner in simulacrum with that bleed.

That's a lot more efficient than a lot of guns. Tigris P took an average of four to six shots.

There aren't a lot of Primary / Secondary weapons that can rely on Bleed DPS.

You might enjoy the new Spectra Vandal.

Ak-Vasto, Ak-Jagara, Nagantaka, Dread. That's about it.

You need a weapon with roughly 70% or more Slash weight to rely fully on Bleed DPS. Hunter's Munitions does not truly make a weapon a Bleed DPS weapon, it more compensates for it's lack in Bleed capacity and scaling potential through Bleeds damage. In most other cases Corrosive status will win. Maybe not under lvl 100 or so but it does eventually win. Even for weapon like Tigris Prime. There are a few weird weapons when you involve Rivens like Panthera, Prisma Grinlok, Arca-Sisco, Marelok, Rattleguts, Prisma Grakata ect. Pretty much weapons where if you strip Impact / Puncture from it the remaining Slash weight comes out to the sought after value of 70%+.

I'm intrigued, because I'm looking for a good Dread build for my Ash. I usually focus on Crit with a Viral afterthought. How much status chance should I squeeze in without sacrificing crit?

Unless you have a riven with status, all you have room for is the status you'd get from 60%/60% viral anyways.

I'm rerolling a Riven "now". So far the best I'm getting is 200% damage and +X cold and a -% vs something I can't remember right now.

If you get the right Riven rolls, pretty much +%Status +%Multishot then Dread is one of like three "guns" that can do a pure physical build.

Spoiler

This was pre-charge rate buff. If I recall it's around 87% Avg Slash trigger per shot. Which is reasonably consistent.
