Demolyst Killing Tips

Hey guys, I noticed lots of comments/questions about killing Demolysts. I just wanted to post what's been working for me.

Viral/elec seems to be the way to go. Tombfinger with this damage combo absolutely deletes these guys. Highest I went was lvl ~100 though. I'll throw the Orvius on top of that at the higher levels, but not necessary. I run a Slowva. Viral/elec Amprex is my primary for trash clearing.

I tested a couple of other status secondaries with CO Orvius (Mara Detron, Zakti, etc), which worked fine. But the viral/elec Tombfinger just wrecks. Perhaps you have even better suggestions!

battacor crit build with hunter's munitions works too or anything that applies slash procs rapidly 

i swear sometimes people forget slash procs exist 

really kinda says it all in about one second

That would be excellent advice if not for the fact that demolysts are immune to DoT.

Well, as long as you keep its shields down, it'll suffer from status DoT, and any other status.

they are only immune to dot if their sheild is on once that is down slash procs work and guess what magnetic also works while the shield is up 

Edit: so i went to the sim to test sheild disruption and i found this

How far can you go with that build because if it works that would be nice, I'm tired of brute forcing my way.

Edit.  To clarify, I mean how effective would it be in higher levels, not if it works.

I just want to know the hp and armor type of demolyst. I think paracesis would be best weapon cause its full crit and status seems wonky vs demolyst. Also you can still use CO on paracsyt with status spray secondary/primary combo if there is some way to apply status

There are four of them, two of them are flesh, the others are robotic, the moa one is the most tankiest one.

So again, is it effective at higher levels in disruption and how far did you get with that build?

Well yeah, that's what they do in mission, they buff enemy units

The Paracesis obliterates them.

Mirage with the Lenz also takes them down quite quickly if you can fire a few shots out, plus it'll slow him down a bit.

Do you have scans of Demolysts? search their weakness, use maiming strike with such elemental and you are good.

i was going pretty good with the battacor since magnetic is handy against shields it around to level 90 i think i wasn't really paying attention and i was keeping decent pressure on them keeping shields down i should probably figure out if shield disruption works on them

Hmm, not really sure, but since they look a lot like eximi units, I guess there must be some kind of Sentient energy in there

could probably distract natah with kavat memes better yet just have her look at quiet shy thats bound to do something

You can also slap an Aero set mod on and keep it stunlocked. I keep Aero Vantage on my wisp, allowing me to keep it completely stunned while my allies wail on the demolyst
