Bare bones weapons - Why are the polarities gone?

In the last update we received 5 new weapons while 2 of them are Vandal models of the old guns. Some of them are better, some are worse, but all of them are completely stripped of any polarities. Is there any reason why is it like that? Nowadays regular weapon needs at least 2 polarities to make a decent build. Sometimes its 1, sometimes its 5 or more especially if we want to use riven. Is this really a problem to put 1 or 2 V or dash polarities just like in the old days? Almost every weapon uses at least one mod of this kind. I don't mind using formas to make weapons we like and we use even more powerful, but spending 2 or 3 formas just to make a bare weapon useful and discover "i don't like this one" or "I expected this one to be good but...it's a garbage" is not ok imho. And then you can't even sell this gun to make space for more guns...i mean you can, but i doubt anyone would like to sell a gun with potato and formas installed unless they have better model of it like prime etc. Fulmin, cyanex, komorex, glaxion and spectra vandal, wolf sledge, battacor, ocucor. just a few of recently added "bare" weapons. For what is it all about? Money? If yes, maybe it would be better to...I don't know... make more cosmetics, decorations and other things players actually like to spend their platinum on instead of rely on Tennogen which is beyond many's reach? Sorry if that sounds rough, but I'm a bit...displeased by this situation. I just don't like to waste too many resources and wait until I make a gun I want to play with actually "useful".

Because someone from the sales division wants you to spend some of your forma and maybe plat, to purchase affinity boosters.

Cosmetics require time and effort to make. Forcing people into grinding - doesn't. It actually allows the company to motivate you into spending cash, if you're short on time.

Yeah, as someone who doesn’t actively go out of my way to make every weapon in the game as strong as it can be. Having a bunch of new weapons that are only around mid-tier/upper mid tier and require 4-5 forma each it honestly just makes me not want to even bother with the weapons. Why invest in them when I have the options of better weapons that already have 1-2 polarities on them. This is why Aklex Prime is in my arsenal with no catalyst and no forma, because it’s not worth the 5 forma to throw into it.

This is especially annoying with weapons that require a forma to craft but then have no polarities.

Well, I'm afraid this "person from sales division" will not relate to this but lets be honest, you are right.

I also prefer to skip the gun or just use it as mastery fooder if it requires too much work and to be honest it's sad for me to look at this...waste... I play this game for many years and i really wish (at least for now) DE and warframe to live as long as possible. I'm not the kind of person who pays for f2p if I have choice like trade, but this time i did it, i gave them my money few times, not 'cuz I needed plat (ok i did) but mostly 'cuz I felt this game deserves to be supported. I don't mind grind unless its too much of it.I still like this game, I like new things they add but things like bare weapons, like locking hildryn behind the boss fight which wasn't available alongside with the game market, like hema ( never forgive, never forget) makes me doubt do they still deserve my support. I don't mind if they care about money, every company should do, but when they forget about players...that pisses me off...

This makes me so angry when this happens, Im on 5 forma's for my Braton Prime and it still needs 1 more to fit all my mods in.  Thats a lot of time and resources to make a scrub level weapon strong (sorry to the braton lovers).  Theres so many weapons I want to work on and use but the needed forma'ing I know most of them will take is a serious turn off.  Its hours in SO if I can get a few good groups.  I can get 10 Forma BP's very quickly for free so at that point its all about my personal gaming time.  I only dedicate that amount of time now to weapons that I have strong Rivens for because I know its worth it, just a handful of weapons.  Ha when can I complain about Kuva output?

Ah as said above affinity boosters, is that really why?  Im def guilty of buying them and I cant even imagine not having one active with the amount of formas I go thru.  Damn...

When I get my hands on that kind of weapon I generally won't even make a single shot with it. I just put it in the slot to farm mr.
That's sad. But that's what DE force me to do as 0-polarity weapon is unbuildable. And you want even be able to use it at all on mid-level.
