Why do idles not work with melee?

It'd take a very long time to animate new idles for every type of melee weapon. Primary has about 2 or 3, Secondary about the same. There are almost 10 different types of melee weapon, so you'd need to animate a new movement for each weapon.

Also, Wisp doesn't hover when using her melee weapon as the legs aren't animated separately in melee. They'd need to literally re-animate every single action for melee to have Wisp float while using melee, so it's not really realistic to do.

Yeah, Wisp doesn't hover with a melee weapon because the melee weapon animations are whole-body and would need to be redone individually. She also has a bunch of other animations that don't hover, like dropping from the ceiling when starting a mission and I believe using a zipline.
