Stuck on "Checking For New Content"

I was updating Warframe but then i got stuck. I need Help Guys.....

Got the same issue. I thought it was my fault because I was plugging in my speakers and accidentally pushed my pc a bit which caused it to restart while the launcher was running for some reason.. I take it you didn't force restart your PC some similar way when your launcher was running right? I tried restarting my pc, modem, changing the launcher language as some other people suggested in older topics with the same issue but it didn't fix it for me.
I really hope I don't have to reinstall the whole thing.

DE use a third party DDOS protection system on the game servers and I am pretty sure they use the same on the patch servers. This service does seem to catch legitimate player IP addresses from time to time. Visit www.whatismyip.com and make a note of your current IP. Now shut down your modem/router for a few hours until www.whatismyip.com shows a different IP address and it should solve it. A VPN should also work.

I have heard rumours that selecting a different language on the launcher to one in a very different region to yours and restarting might get you connected to a different patch server but I have never seen conformation of this posted unlike the above fixes.
