(XBOX)AlexFi1978
Just ran exploiter for first time and was also solo as no one else obviously queuing to do it. So after an hour, and just losing my last revive on the final stage took it down - now I’d heard it exploded so grabbed my loot when it spawned and then started making my escape. Apparently not far enough so it nuked me, and not once but twice as my Phoenix renewal triggered and then boom I’m dead - mission over, no rewards - Hildryn Chassis Blueprint, all the resources and an hour of time wasted. Why is this a thing? I now have no enthusiasm to run this ever again, struggle through to think you’ve done it but nope get screwed by a ridiculous final explosion which not only killed me once but twice (even after the immunity period). Snatching defeat from jaws of victory - sucks.
-AoN-CanoLathra-
The only way to escape it is to get in an Arching and fly as fast as possible, or go into operator and hide (make sure you have no active abilities when you do). Alternatively, use a frame that can become invulnerable on demand (Hildryn, Rhino, Valkyr, Wukong, etc.). You can hide in the cave and avoid the explosion, you can Archwing away, you can hide in void mode or invincibility abilities. You need to reach about 400m I believe.

Which are all things learned after the event, the point is to spend that time and lose everything because of the final explosion, which went through the Phoenix renewal and the immunity after was really harsh for a solo players first ever attempt

You lost because you weren't prepared enough. It's the same fight whether it's your first time or not, so learn from your experience, and avoid it next time. Is it a harsh lesson? Yes. Should it be changed? No, it's an Orb mechanic that always existed from the get go and is fully intended.

That one explodes, so it is fairly obvious that Exploiter will too. My first few runs against Exploiter were all solo, at worst I lost one single revive in the whole fight. Dying that much usually suggests that you were underprepared. Yes, my first run took close to an hour, but I managed to avoid dying. It is easier with a squad. That would also solve the ‘running out of revives’ issue.

Ham_Grenabe
For the future, I recommend reading how-to's on boss fights. If final gotchas like the orb explosions are a possibility, it's better to know ahead of time. Sorry about the lost loot.

Sintag
Did you do Profit-Taker first? Because that giant chunk of a spider also goes kaboom. Also, advice for the future - Operator's Void Mode can outlast the explosion, just turn off any and all active Warframe powers first. Alternatively, use Archwing, book it out to ~450m, then book it back over to the loot site.
