Are Disruptions coming back?

I crave endless game modes with leaderboards. I'm not a fan of ESO, but I liked Disrups.

But now that I got a taste for them and they're now gone, I have to ask. Are they coming back? Hopefully with leaderboards? (And hopefully not tied to guilds anymore?)

Leaderboards are usually exclusive to events.  The event ended.  So did the leaderboard.  It's why it's silly expecting there to be an "endurance meta" for the mission like there is for capturing Eidolons (in my opinion.)  Now that the event is over, it's just another endless mission to punch Corpus and farm hexenon.  There's no points to earn, and not any real reason to go for "max points meta builds!"

There're still the weekly mission leaderboard if OP wants. I mean, 99% of the people doesn't care about it but....

This makes me sad.

There should be score keeping during the mission like there was for Endurance, even if no leaderboards.

It's not like Hexenon farming is important anyway :/

Kinda makes the whole place pointless... And disappointing...

Well I'd care about it.

99% of people don't care about ESO leaders either, but those that do, do.

WF community in general isn't really competitive about anything, but there's always a small mini-community for competition when applicable.

:)

I think they didn't add it yet. But all endless missions have.

Many players don't care about it that much due to it being a mode heavily pushed towards the usage of only a few warframes with very specific mod loadouts.

Yeah, but lots of things are like that. In fact, I consider Disrups a lot more lenient than both Eidos and ESO.

No you can't just play whatever you want and expect to do well, but nothing in WF is like that except Star Chart. I have no qualms adjusting what I'm using in order to fit the game mode I like. I don't "attach myself to a main," so to speak, like lots of people do.

That is exactly how a well implemented mission works. If a mission is well done, it can be done with any warframe and some are just better at it than others. IE, Ranged Defense missions with a Frost or Limbo instead of say, an Oberon. Disruption doesn't have a situation where you fail or can't get to a full reward cycle without one of three warframes. ESO, as said is not a well implemented mission while if you look at most player's profiles, few have warframes they have even played for a sixth of their playtime let alone being illogically unwilling to use other warframes or weapons. No, the fact of the matter is more a deal of try to solo ESO with any warframe without using Acolyte mods or conditionals, any progression mod is permissible while getting at least to the Rotation C (8 zones in ESO). You will not usually do more than 3 or maybe 4 zones in ESO without using Equinox, Saryn, and with a very power and range Volt to a lesser extent. It is handled a lot like Trials which were usually a failure without either spending many consumables or bringing at least Trinity, Nova, and some warframe to avoid damage like a Loki or something that can go invulnerable like Assimilate Nyx.
