Asparizan
I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think it'd be nice to see warframes get damaged throughout missions after taking damage. Ex. Bombard slaps you in the face with a missle, there's a big black burn mark on your warframe's face, chest, etc until the end of the mission. swiftasacoursing
Well we already get a big black crater where your frame used to be fr though it would be nice to see some semi-permanent injuries through the mission
Shaburanigud
While it isn't impossible(I've seen similar stuff in Vindictus), it will be a hell of alot of work to do. If they go sloppy and just put black burn marks and bullet holds with very little effort, it'll just look messy and clumsy. If they try to go full overboard with the idea, it'll probably take years. Might even basically become Warframe 2.0 at that point since they'll have to do new line of codes, animations, textures etc. etc. But I wouldn't mind some skins that actually showcase damaged and worn out versions of the warframes. That would be an instant money grab for me.
GinKenshin
I'd rather keep my warframe fashionable and looking pretty all mission no matter how much dmg I take
DirePresent
But only if you won't regen, it'd not make sense if you're covered of wounds when you're a Trin and you can restore your health as if nothing had happened. For example, you'd have the wounds till the end of the mission if your health is still damaged.

It's not like the warframe's health is tied to the armor appearance.

It's not like the warframe's health is tied to the armor appearance. My friend, if you've played The Sacrifice, you will then have seen exactly why there's no lasting battle damage on Warframes. The armour is grown, not just some shell, and it can be repaired and regenerated faster than Wolverine ^^ That's one of the reasons that Warframes are so durable, and why they can still function at peak movement even though they only have 1 point of health left. (My personal belief is that Health Orbs are just another Energy pool, and it indicates whether they can heal a given injury or not. They're actually as fragile as the grineer or corpus, but the regeneration is so fast that it happens in the time it takes to lose the points of 'health energy', and if there's not enough 'health energy' left to heal the wound... they die.)
