Failed with quest

I have a quest to Kubrau. Yesterday I set it as active, instead of Kubrau derivation, the Limbo theorem. Today I forgot to put Kubrau's quest as an active one and when I entered the incubator, where Kubrau was already out, the quest did not notify me about it. When I again put the quest to remove Kubrau as an active one, he demanded "Bring out the Kubrau using an incubator." Is this the type I need to display Kubra again for the quest?

Your kubrow have to mature to finish the quest, maybe the game tells you to do that? If the right quest is active, I can only think of this as an explanation. The incubator tells you how many hours are left from its puppyhood, but if you're in a hurry, you can rush the counter with plats.

Kubrow puppies only mature when the player wants now by hitting a button, not on yet another time gate.

Oh you can mature the kubrow puppy for free right after it hatched? Sorry for the wrong info, seems it was too long since I had a new kubrow.

Or keep it forever as a puppy if you want. I have two puppies on my ship, waiting for the stasis pos rework on the chance DE allows our companions to wander the shop freely.
