Warfame Rivens For Arbitrations

Recommended Posts

Instead of buffing random frames with +300% power strength for arbitration, why not just add warframe rivens exclusively for arbitration mission and/or ESO and if you add any other high level game modes you can enable the rivens for those modes as well. I believe it would make arbitration missions a lot more fun personally, also would allow us to go longer in arbitration if we roll a really good riven. The rivens would only be allowed for arbitration so it wouldn't make people overpowered in all of the other missions.

It's just gonna be a huge waste of time and resources then. Wasting all that kuva on something you only use in 1-2 missions for a certain frame is just a bad idea. I'd rather have guaranteed benefits instead of random ones that I have to waste resource on

Warframe Rivens are a terrible idea in any conceivable manner. Regular rivens are already not amazing but they're at least workable and tolerable.

What needs to happen is that +300% Power Strength needs to be a random stat, excluding efficiency, for the frame. Instead of always +300% strength you could roll a +300% range or +300% duration. Would make them infinitely more enjoyable, particularly so you don't always get a useless Loki buff.

Oh god, 300% duration on my Loki, yes please!

This is why I said this, making more gamemodes and allowing the rivens in some of the gamemodes we have now would make the rivens more worth it. but yes I see your point. Getting and rolling multiple rivens for different frames just for arbitration is a bit of a waste but if we had other gamemodes to use them in it would be a good investment to have really good stats on our frames to get through higher level modes.

It's not a terrible idea in some cases. Say I got a inaros riven and rolled +80% power strength and +100% power max but had -250% health. or a nova with +300% health -60% power strength. DE would of course have to work with the rivens a bit but it would be interesting to see and  players could benefit more from them for arbitration rather than a random warframe getting 300% power strength boost. Although I do see your point about getting duration, strength, or range as a stat but it would be disappointing to get +300% range on a frame that can't really use it or duration. Same with the strength for Loki.

It is a terrible idea, though, because we've already got the problem of either being immortal or being one shot. Allowing us to continue to push our frame stats even higher would create more problems for the game than it would solve.

It's also entirely pointless to limit them to only being used in arbitrations (and similar modes). The whole point is that they're more challenging but then you want to just go ahead and give the players a mod that completely nullifies said challenge because... reasons?

This is why I said this. Balancing what the rivens could be capable of modifying and how much it could change each warframe to make it not diminish the challenge. The +300% power strength already nullifies the challenge. Literally had a +300 wisp, +300 mesa, +300 equinox, and a +300 Baruuk in a defense arbitration match. The target and players couldn't die with all of our buffs up with 300% power strength added. Got bored of playing and we all left after about 40 mins

I don't see how a particular reward would make the mission itself more fun. To me, greater incentive doesn't make the game more enjoyable, it just makes the payoff of a grind greater.

I believe the whole Arbitration buff is to encourage diversity, not to give actual buffs to further min max reliably.

So then this idea falls flat in that since you'll just roll one or two good rivens for a frame and only use that. Rather, just allow us to choose where to apply the random 300% bonus. Strength, Range or Duration. It still does random rolls on frames. Also there's no hassle of managing more stuff in inventory.

That's something I can get behind. What I was saying is that rivens would be fun, because you could play around with the stats of a frame and see how powerful or different you could get it. but simply adding a feature like this would have a similar affect as a riven and also keeping the buffs for frames viable.

People were asking for this for months , then they went to play "OtHer GaeMz" .

I don't blame them .

I don't know if I'm reading into this wrong, but I believe OP meant to have the random warframe arbitration buff act more like riven mods currently do. This would mean instead of getting +300% Power Strength on your random frame, you could get a combination of different modifiers; for example, [+X% Range, +X% Duration, -X% Efficiency], or [+X% Efficiency, -X% Power].

Having the arbitration modifier be more randomized might make choosing that specific frame more viable - rather than how it currently is, where people really only bring in their most survivable frames. This could even further be made true if stats like Health, Shield, and Armour could be increased randomly for the arbitration.

They already said warframe rivens are never going to be a thing, the omega rivens that were datamined years ago were a joke.

You're reading it right, everyone else is reading it wrong. He wants riven-like stats to replace the flat buff we have currently.
