Octavia anthem softlock glitch / bug

I was playing octavia's Anthem trying to finally beat it.. I got to the part where you have to harness the power of the orokin towers somehow a player joined me I don't know how they ran up to the first Tower or the music thing if you want to call it that. They activated it tried doing the puzzle then exited out of it then all of a sudden I was invisible and I couldn't interact with anything all you could see was my gun floating around.
