LimaKiloCharlie
Nitain Extract is still obtainable. Just need to read around. It has a small chance to drop from a cache when all three are found — Orokin or Reactor Sabotage and Lua or Kuva Fortress Exterminate. Part of Cetus Bounty's reward pool during a Ghoul Purge. https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Nitain_Extract Hope this helps. GinKenshin
we know, the problem is that it has an abysmal drop chance and getting it from NW is a lot easier but DE isn't giving us that option because they f*cked up their timing as usual and didn't give us a reasonable alternative way of getting it like bringing back it's alerts
MirageKnight
"Small chance" is putting it rather mildly. That's like saying that Drekar Butchers have a low chance of dropping Condition Overload.

Ascarith
To be fair, as a practical matter, nitain is unobtainable at the moment. I can count on one hand (probably one finger, actually) the number of Nitain drops I've gotten from sabotage caches. And I have played a fair amount of reactor sabotage looking for Xiphos parts (and the number of those that I have I can count without any fingers at all!). Particularly for people who don't have a lot of play time, you probably had better odds of bumping into on of the actual Nitain alerts than getting Nitain out of a cache. I was lucky enough to stockpile plenty of Nitain when it first came out (because I had plenty of free time at that juncture in my life), but I really feel for the people who never had that chance.
(PSN)KingGuy420
I don't get it anyways. Between spending the last of our Wolf Creds and the 2 Nitain Alerts, I got like 60 in that week. I have to assume even the average player got 25-30 in that week. DE was basically prepping us for this down time. Are you guys feeding them to your Kubrows or something? Holy...
Giantconch
Sorry, but no. Cache hunting in Sabotage missions is not viable, in any way shape or form, to "farm" nitain. When this was all first added years ago I tried running sab's to farm nitain. I got >1< after somewhere between 200-300 runs. This might as well not even exist given the number of Nitain required to build certain parts. Drop rates are abysmal, anywhere from 0.67% chance, all the way up to a whopping 2% chance from certain areas.
Infirito
2%, dude. It is completely gone. Just now, (PS4)KingGuy420 said: Are you guys feeding them to your Kubrows or something? A LOT of things needs Nitain, some need a lot of it. New players couldn't farm Nightface effectively either, cause they're new and veterans had a bunch of it already, Nightface or not.
-AiLuoLi-
Lmao. With that drop rate I'd rather farm plat and buy the thing straight from market.

nslay
As far as I know, Orokin Sabotage (Stribog) and Kuva Exterminate (Dakata) have the highest drop rate (2%) for Nitain outside of Ghouls. The others like Lua and Marduk are not worth your time. Personally, I think the Void tileset is much more aesthetically pleasing, interesting and especially less confusing than Kuva tilesets! So I personally recommend Stribog, Void over Dakata, Kuva Fortress. Oh yeah, and Stribog will give you Lith O2 and Meso O3! These are relics attainable nowhere else (except for syndicate relic packs!). And Bullet Dance is also a potential reward for Orokin Sabotage. So there's that too... EDIT: Oh yeah, that's right, T3 Reactor Sabotage gives 2% for Nitain too. But it doesn't drop valuable mods like Bullet Dance or exclusive relics like Lith O2/Meso O3... Chewarette
Consider them gone. A 2% resource drop is non-existent, especially when you have to farm on one or two tilesets for that. I think DE #*!%ed up their Nightwave timing. If the gap between two seasons was meant to be that long, they SHOULD have something in-between to get Nitains, other than an occasionnal 3-day Gift that one can miss quite easily. They should really add a third Weekly Mission along Maroo and Clem which awards 5-10 Nitains, at least available between Nightwaves and disabled when Nightwave seasons are there.

Well, Hepit and Ukko also have a chance to give you Lith O2 and Meso O3 respectively. In fact, you only find those two relics in some Void missions. Troopsie
The problem is, people are going to put hours into farming these missions, just to get barely enough Nitain. We as players expect to get what we need from spending hours. I farm High Voltage and Shell Shock almost daily now and sometimes I go through a whole 13 hours with only 1 to drop or even 4 hours with 5 dropping. RNG is a pain to deal with. EDIT: Here let me rephrase for you, as per the topic: You are Renegade343, and you need Nitain, you can: 1) Farm T3 Reactor Sabotage or Kuva Exterminate and try to get Nitain at 2%. The 3 caches reward nothing extraordinary except for Nitain. 2) Farm Stribog Void and try to get Nitain at 2% ... Oh, but you will also probably get Lith O2, Meso O3 and Bullet Dance while you farm for Nitain. Bullet Dance is also a potential reward from finding the 3 caches. 3) You can farm Hepit and Ukko but never get Nitain as these nodes don't drop Nitain. But hey, you can get Lith O2 and Meso O3 in Heppit and Meso O3 and Neo V8 in Ukko. But no Nitain. Which would you do? The drop chance depending on the location is at best 2% and at worst 0.67% for a location C cache. That is 98-99% chance to not get it - let alone the time investment for finding the third cache. The drop chance is depressing: https://dropchance.guru/?percent=2 vor 10 Stunden schrieb LimaKiloCharlie: Part of Cetus Bounty's reward pool during a Ghoul Purge. Here the drop chances are a bit better. We have 4.12% for Nitain on the 4th of 5 stages. Meaing you have an almost 96% chance to not get Nitain. But at least there is an additional 5.95% chance on the final of 5 stages. Even with these better odds you will still end up with more than 90% chance to not get a Nitain in any of the two final stages. Depressing again: https://dropchance.guru/?percent=4.12 What you also have to take into account is that you need more than one Nitain. Whatever you result on dropchance.guru, multiply it with the number of Nitain you need. Edited June 6, 2019 by k05h
