Repeating
Recent changes have allowed specters, Garuda and Hildryn, to cast abilities when previously they could not. A couple abilities I feel are troublesome, and could use some tweaks, those being Bloodletting, and Balefire. Bloodletting is a completely useless ability for a specter, since the primary function of the ability is to give energy, which specters do not use; it only serves to weaken the specter, and I think it should be replaced with Dread Mirror. Balefire disables the use of equipped weapons, has no time limit, and does not scale with level (thus weakening the frame overall); in order to not completely negate the player's choice of weapons, Balefire should be given a timer similar to the one Mesa specters have on their regulators, or be removed completely. Alternatively, Shield Pillage could be made to always cast at a certain shield threshold, similar to other specter abilities like Trinity's Blessing, and Garuda's Bloodletting. Again, thank you for letting them cast abilities in the first place. Edited June 9, 2019 by Repeating

If the spectre can halve its health it can increase its damage. Its also a fun toy. You heal the spectre and it will try to drain its own health again within 5 sec.

I'm aware that the passive is triggered, but the damage buff would already gradually apply as the specter is damaged. Having it cast Bloodletting significantly decreases the specters longevity. As it is, if you were to use Garuda as a damage boosted turret, you'd be better off using Mirage, who has a much better damage buff with no major downsides. taiiat
the logic could just be modified (if it doesn't already take into account) so that the Specter also will use Blood Altar as well and be smart enough to stay within Range of it most of the time, so that it manages its own Health.

Oh, how I wish that were the case. The reason she doesn't use Blood Altar is because specters aren't allowed to use any abilities that would impede the player. Blood Altar makes the target un-killable, so that's a no go. They could pull a Limbo, and make it function differently from the player's Blood Altar.
