Question

Okay so I have figured out how to finally get at least somewhat comfortable with Saturn and kinda Uranus now my issue is I have no idea what to do next obviously go around the Star Chart but I have no idea how to get The Second Dream Quest or what mods I should be farming for/what weapons are good for this stage of the game. Also if anyone could tell me how to get colors without buying Plat to get them or tell me how to better farm mods/blueprints so I can trade them for plat (provided there is no other way to get color palates aside from paying plat) and how the hell I get a new Orbiter and how to equip the Kubrow to use and how people keep getting these nice profile pictures that would be, that would be just ideal.

-- Thanks to all answers in advance and may god have mercy on our lactic acids!

1. Progress through the star chart

2. Colors and glyphs can only be purchased for plat

3. Grind void fissures for prime sets to trade

4. As you progress through, you'll unlock the ability to play more quests

5. New landers/orbiters can either be purchased with plat, or you can find the parts and build them once you have obtained a landing craft foundry segment(obtainable through Dojo research)

6. Head to the arsenal and equip it there, provided that you've completed the quest and the kubrow isn't recovering from stasis(you can't use him for ~30 mins once taking him out of stasis)

Sorry this answer is a bit long winded, I've tried to break it up as much as I could

Okay, if I don't equip a Void Relic during a Void Fissure can I still get the Void Relic refinement material I think its called Void Traces because I have so little and I want to refine my Void Relics so I can get the better rewards from them to sell for more plat.

Baro Ki'Teer has a chance to bring some colours and Glyphs.

They're all rubbish though...

This is true.... if you don't equip a relic.... you won't be able to pick a reward from other player's relics. But you will still get Void Traces after picking up 10 Reactant.

The problem is if it is even remotely possible you should always go into a fissure with a Relic... the concern for trying to preserve relics is definitely a Valid one.... but not all the relics have the same Value/Rarity....

The trick is trying to figure out which relics would benefit most from your Void Traces...

The general advice I can offer is to just use any Relics that were just recently added into the game.... right now its the Equinox, Tipedo, and Stradavar Prime Relics.... However theres also the recent Unvaulting that added Relics containing Volt, Loki, Odonata, Bo, and Wyrm Prime.... the relics containing these parts are going to get vaulted at the end of the Month so it would be wise to keep those and save your Void Traces for them...

but I have no idea how to get The Second Dream Quest

You need to first do the Natah Quest before you can unlock the 2nd Dream....

To unlock the Natah Quest you need to scan a very shiny blue drone somewhere on Uranus... the way you do this is simple... when doing any normal mission on Uranus you might hear the sound of a Whale having an Orgasm.... as soon as you hear it.... ignore whatever it is you were doing then rush ahead and the drone in question should be in a room with Dead grineer bodies scattered everwhere with The drone itself standing amongst them.... scan it ASAP and then the Game will take it from there.... if you're too slow the drone will vanish.... as a general rule if you don't find tge drone with 25 Seconds after hearing the sound then you were too slow....

Okay so for scanning the drone can I use the Synthesis Scanner or do I HAVE to use the Codex Scanner?

They both work.... I will however say that Cephalon Semaris does sell something called the "Sol Battery Widget"... its an upgrade for the Synthesis Scanner that basically gives you infinite scans...

Just make sure you already have this mod first...

Invasions sometimes. Gift of the Lotus alerts sometimes. Nightwave, when the next chapter or interim comes back.

How do I know if I can get one from invasions? Does it say or is it like a "Hidden Reward"? and what is Gift of the Lotus? And lastly any idea when Nightwave might start up again?

I don't think anything concrete has been said _when_ interim Nightwave lands but could be tomorrow's server maintenance, or that could be Plague Star. No idea. Invasions are the missions where you side with either Grineer or Corpus against the other or against the infested. Each of those missions show what running it 3 times will net as a reward. I'd do those for the weapon parts as well. Usually potatoes or exilus from invasions are short lived so you gotta keep an eye on it sort of thing. I miss plenty myself. Gift of the Lotus are alerts that usually last one or two days and after either primetime or devstream. I can never remember.

Interim Nightwave post;

Cool so they will have it next week do these only last a limited time each time they release it or will it at some point be permanent, I just feel like they should give a way for players to earn the potatoes in game without plat permanently like maybe trading ducats or something.

uhh.... why would a newer Player seek to acquire Health Conversion quickly? it's not even useful for newer Players.
it's a waste of their time grinding for it early on and it's functionally useless for the majority of Warframes unless you bank on using the Synth Set at all times which newer Players wouldn't have access to and is also above what i expect you to be considering when talking about the game.

Its called Planning ahead.... out if all Semaris Offering's Health Conversion is probably the most important. May aswel get it out of the way because its also extremely expensive. If you find yourself in a position where you need but don't have it it can take up to 7 Days to aquire it.

And if all Warframe were made Equal then you would have a good point.... sadly even though theres 40 of them really you can cover almost the entire game as a whole with only the top ten.... one of those top ten is Nekros... literally this all I was thinking about when reccomending Health Conversion

Sure Nezha and Broken Sceptre can use it too but none of them come close to the Nekros in terms of Effectiveness. The game really is just that grindy...

When I started over I knew most of what I wanted to get and Health Conversion was one of those things important ones...

Hell I started Scanning Plants last month and I haven't even started the Silver Grove yet...

Well I got all the parts for Nekros and I got a Catalyst potato can anyone recommend a weapon to put it on so it doesn't get wasted (I am still building my Dojo and have no research rooms yet so all those weapons are off the table) I have Hirudo, Dread, and or Atomos I was thinking of putting it on.

well then, by your definition, they should absolutely get Energy Conversion, the Simulation key, and about 50 Exilus Adapters before they buy anything else from Simaris.
and definitely should Equip Health/Energy Conversion first rather than using the Mod Points on some other Mods before adding those on top.

because yeah, that makes any sense at all.

When they can...

Don't know where this 2nd Part came from.... are you having one of those Made Up Arguments with yourself again ?

so you didn't intend for someone that follows your directions to use what you're telling them to get before they get anything else?
just to have it in their Inventory and not touch it for hundreds of hours of Gameplay?

how is that actually helpful advice for newer Players, vs sabotaging them and ultimately increasing their grinding and making it take longer to progress than it would normally?

What Taiiat is trying to say is to be careful of the advice you give as the person reading it might take it literally and do exactly that without knowing the full details.

Uhm.... okay lets back up to where I said they should Use Health conversion before literally any other mod.... oh no wait.... I didn't.

All I said is they should get it first.... much like how people say you you should join the Steel Meridians 4 Ranks before being able to access Scattered Justice...

Sabotaging Players is saying something like: "Just use whatever you like.... every weapon is viable"... thats just guaranteed disappointment waiting to happen...

Perhaps you can both tell me exactly how much damage Getting Health Conversion, Maxing It and then using it before essential mods would be to new players ?

What..... they might think that mod sucks and is rubbish ? Well.... honestly.... it is.... and its not the only one either. Quick Thinking, Redirection and vigor are kinda rubbish too.... but.... thats all you have to work with.... use it anyway..... who knows...  it might actually save you.... it wont.... but it might....

Because it's a useless mod that wouldn't really benefit them at all by the time they can get it.

And once you learn the basics, you start to realize that none of those mods matter ether.  Especially Quick Thinking contrary to what some on the forums might say.

Learning to dodge, roll, and evade and tactics to not get hit at all will serve a new Tenno better in the long run regardless of frame they choose.

I mean just think about this for a second, almost none of the long endurance runners or the so called "end game" crowd bother to use survival mods.  There is a very logical reason why.  😀

yes, and if you insist that Players should acquire it before they... say... get anything else from Simaris, you're suggesting it's critically important to have and therefore worth giving up Progression speed to get.

but Health conversion is basically useless to a newer Player. it's only useful maybe 200-300 hours in. they spend 15 Mod Points to get... nothing.
so that's what Sabotaging Players looks like. when you insist Players acquire A before B, when doing so means that they'll waste their time.

basic EHP Mods are massively powerful for newer Players. QT is kinda hard to use early on but Health&Shields make a ridiculous difference because they just increase EHP in all cases, and by large amounts. which works great to soften things for Players that aren't sure what they're doing yet.
though making use of normal Vigor wouldn't be worthwhile generally sure, but that's because the stats on it are too low to be worth using over a different basic EHP Mod. (which Primed Vigor changed even though that doesn't fix the normal version but w/e)

steering newer Players away from such easy raw stat increases would just be silly. why would you want them to increase their Stats slower in a game where that's pretty much what you do.

You make this sound like its rocket science.... perhaps you can enlighten me... how does one execute Those maneuvers to void dying ?

Its because you reach a point where nothing can save you hence you may aswel whip out the cheese tactics right away...

Find a a corner.... funnel all the enemies in there and Turn them into minse meat.... its not hard.... doing this for 3 hours Is just Tedious.

Health Conversion is Critically important. Unless you would rather they pick up Ludoplex ?

I think you underestimate how easy it it is to for a new player to make use of Health Coversion...

Heres a quick sumnary....

Ask clan mate for Despoil

get Taxi to Lephantis....

And voila.... you can use make use of it almost as fast as you are able to aquire it....

As someine who started with Mag and Volt and Upgraded Redirection before anything else.... I have to disagree. Shields are rubbish.... always have been....they stop being effective on Phobos.... I think I first realised this when I started encountering Sapping Ospreys....

Not even close.  It actually closer to the last thing you should get from him.  The Widgets being the first as those will save on resources and credits that early Tenno don't have a stock pile of yet.  Next being the Simulacrum followed by the weapons.  Specifically the Heliocor hammer which makes getting kavats and other scans waaay easier.

edit:  Also dodging and rolling give damage reduction while doing them should you get hit.  there's also things like using your surroundings and/or using enemy limits and pathing against them.

You know, the same tactics that work in almost every other game in existence.  😀
