Mag Augment Ideas

Mags already a broken dps machine with her 2 but it really isnt noticable. These augments dont really solve those issues but they are big ass buffs to mags entire kit.

Magnetizing Pull-When mag activates pull when the cursor is facing a magnetize bubble it will pull enemies to that bubble like a nidus Larvae.(Does not require line of sight but to be in range instead scales with Pull's range)

Shatter Pull-The shards dropped from Polarize can now be pulled by mag to make cut enemies dealing 20/30/50 slash damage and making them subsceptible to bleeding from all damage sources by 50%. (Affected by PS)

Bullet Magnet-Enemies hit by Polarize will attract enemy projectiles to themselves in a 5/5.5/6.5m radius.(Is not affected by mods)

Crush Field-When Crush is active it no longer instantly crushes but lingers as field that massively increase the gravity there to enemies within the range of crush which will slow them for 40% and deal 300/500/750 magnetic damage to them p/second after being in the field for 5 seconds they are stunned until the duration ends which is 10/12/15s.(Affected by PS and PD)

I like these augments, very creative, If this one ships then I hope the default pull + magnetize synergy is looked at as well.

The number of times I’ve had enemies just fly straight through the bubble...ugh

edit: actually since I’m here I’d like to suggest another magnetize augment idea that lets mag place a bubble a short distance (like 2-3 meters) in front of her. It would allow for a little bit more strategic use of her bubble without having to rely on enemy pathing

That sounds like a great idea but magnetize bubbles also suck in your allies bullets so they can pontentially be in the way of the progress of a mission and would make mag harder to use than she already is this is more of a sounds good on paper but actually not so great once you think of how itll play out.

I mean as long as you actually use your brain and think about where you’re placing the bubbles then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

This sounds really fun, like my pre-poster i want it now! 😄

Bullet Magnet and Crush Field sound at least interesting too,

but Shatter Pull doesnt really fit Mag's Theme imo and i dont think i'd want to use a Modslot for that.

Well yes exactly but it will be quite a hassle tho fitting it in unless it uses an exilus slot
