Hey DE and fellow tenno.

We all know the foundry system, the only issue im having and probably more people is that it shows mastered frames/weapons or already build frames/weapons.

Wouldnt it be great to have a toggle option where you can hide mastered frames/weapons.

so you never build them again, unless you need it

Sure, such a system wouldn't hurt. But what's the issue with the game already telling you that you mastered an item? (Under the picture of the item)
Reading isn't such a great deal. I mean, you kind of have to read to play the game...

"Hide Mastered" wouldn't be a bad option, actually.  Keep the clutter under control a bit.

Having that as a sort option in our inventory would be nice, too.  Click "Mastered" and just get all items at R30 sorted into their own page, make it easier to sell what we don't want.

its a option, but after you completed most of the weapons and frames it gets clutterd. so a way to clean the screen would be nice.

I doubt they're going to actively invest in making many changes to the foundry system until they find out if this bill about lootboxes in the us is going to get enough support to actually have a chance at becoming law. Sure they're a Canadian company but if they want to do business in the US they'll have to abide US trade laws, and if that bill does get signed into law literally the entire foundry system, and literally 80% of the game mechanics will have to be redesigned because they'd be illegal under us law. That or they'd literally have to ban all us residents from doing almost all the things people do with plat or just entirely ban US residents from playing the game.

Granted. That bill has a snowball's chance in hell of passing. But if it did, it would completely crush De's monetization of the game and they'd have to literally rework their entire economic model. So until they see how that goes, I doubt they're going to make any changes to existing systems.

(DE relies heavily on on "timer systems", "inventory slots", "boosters", and other mechanics popular in P2W games, all of which are expressly forbidden to any game that has "themes attractive to minors"... Just making the game "18+" rated won't help them because just the operator looking like a minor is enough to make the law apply to them. But as I said. I strongly doubt the law will pass, at least not without being made significantly more clear.)

Actually no, I looked up what you're talking about and no, nothing in Warframe is held as illegal even under the most extreme implementation of that law.

For one, the simple fact of getting the game registered as 18+ or M rated excludes Minors from the picture, meaning that COPPA (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) does not hold sway, because it is then a legal Guardian's job to prevent their child from playing this game in the first place by using available parental controls on content. The game company is not at fault if a legal Guardian neglects their child as long as they clearly show that their game is not targeted at minors.

For the second, there is no gambling in Warframe. Not anymore. The last hold-outs of loot boxes were the Mod Packs, which were random rolls for Platinum. These have been removed and replaced with regular transactions for listed content, no random roll. Even the Boosters do not fall under this, as they have a listed effect for a listed duration and are optional to the game.

Also, what in the world is that rubbish about 'the Operators are minors, so the law about minors will apply'? No, that's like saying that Duck Hunt needs to change its ducks to targets because Animal Cruelty laws apply to virtual ducks as much as real ducks.
