Is valkyr actually good???

Hi. I am mr5 and I have valkyr lvl 30

I really like her appearance and how she looks (fashon is important for me) 

BUT

I somehow doesn't like how I play with her? 

This is meybe because  hysteria last short. This is maybe because I don't have good mods on her (I have streamline) 

I never use her other abilities. Idk why but I don't

I am always dying on high lvl missions 

Can somebody explain me mechanics and make me to play with her more.

Guys thanks for help but I think that she isn't so good without good mods. So can enyone suggest me warframe which is funny to play and can be farmed for me

Valkyr is GREAT, you just need to focus on her stats and see what is strongest, focus on those, then, make sure you get some of the Valkyr specific mods.

Hysteria is short because it isn't mean't to be an exalted blade/peacemakers, hysteria can do amazing single-target damage and self heal you, so you use it in bursts to kill problem enemies and heal yourself when you're injured (using Rage or Hunter Adrenaline allows you to basically cast it for free when you've taken enough damage to need healing)

As far as her other abilities go, Ripline is for fun/maneuverability, and paralysis is kinda useless because you can force a finisher with hysteria's charge attacks anyway. But, Warcry is vital, beyond giving you an attack speed buff and slowing enemies, it also increases your armor, so taking advantage of armor mods and a high power strength build allows you to become incredibly tanky, on par with frames that have abilities that increase their damage resistance to 90-95%, and if you have Eternal War you can extend this indefinitely

Good is an understatement. Not on of my favorite frames, sure, but that's merely a matter of personal preference. When I do have an excuse to use her she's godly.

Short answer: Yes, she is.
Especially when you build and use her right and have most of the mods available.
If you don't have mods, potato, forma, there are only a few frames that can work.Inaros and Excalibro come first in mind.

Hysteria is something I love but you need a lot of work and Arcanes to make it last a lot in my opinion. Also Hysteria weapon have such a little range that they are infuriating to use at times. 

If you want my sincere opinion, go for full strength + warcry augument. 

You can still use Hysteria for the Invulnerability, but imo for healing it is better just to use lifestrike/Healing Return.

Get armor mods. A rejuvenation Aura mod is nice too.

Valkyr has ridiculous Armor rating.

Forget about her shields though, Boost Health and armor instead.

Hysteria also stops working if you're shooting, you need the claws out.

You probably don't have the right mods yet. Give it time and valkyr gets better. Rhino and Excalibur are two that can be strong even in the beginning maybe focus on them instead.

Fun is kind of a completely subjective thing, what are you looking for in a Warframe?

E.g. Rhino is a solid Frame, combining survival, Squad buffing, mass damage and CC,
plus not least you don't really need a lot of Mod investment for him to be good (enough) in all of those areas.

But he can get a bit boring, and relying on Iron Skin can lead to bad habits that can get you into trouble (i.e. death)
with more squishy Frames that might far surpass Rhino in specific areas, so definitely keep looking at / trying other Frames,
and always try to improve your Mod selection, that's more important than getting a shiny new piece of gear for the most part.

I only have access to 7 frames right now, but Valkyr is my favorite for sure! I am also missing a LOT of the mods needed to do most of the builds properly... but I still have really decent damage output and the claws with slide/spin attack and you dont even notice the range(or lack of) unless you'e used to great swords and big hammers and such. rhino and oberon are tied for my second favorites at the moment, because of survivability and healing capabilities... im still learning her and once i get her strategy down and better mods its gonna be a blood bath 😛

the main thing that is important with her is understanding to wait and when to use Hysteria. (Rage helps alot too)

That depends. Good at what ? 

She sure as hell is a terrible baby sitter... and since Warframe is 50% Baby Sitting missions then overall I think shes merely okay.... great in some Areas... useless in other areas... definitely not essential.

She does need some modding, 

If you are not having the mods, rhino is the preferred frame, it's very new player friendly and excellent even without good mods.

They aren't really comparable. 

Valkyr does require some pretty extensive modding with both NM and corrupted mods to get her to where she needs to be. She also can benefit greatly from an umbral build, which gets very resource heavy, to put it mildly. Valkyr isn't a very flexible warframe. She basically does just one thing: kill stuff. If you need complete immunity to damage and status effects while just killing stuff, then she's your girl. 

If you're after a simpler warframe to play, but has the survivability of Valkyr, then Gara is a good bet. She doesn't require exotic modding and the most you really have to keep in mind is keeping her Splinter Storm up. She's also multi-role, unlike Valkyr. There aren't any missions, aside from Spy, that Gara can't take on solo without much trouble.
