A-Master
By the 4 years I have been playing warframe, I have never quitted the game becouse being tilted, until now. I don't understand why the developers, that are able to make such a great content as we can see in the new type of mision they have done, the open world, etc, decide to implement also the content that is clearly bad in the game just becouse they have been developing it, it resulted to be a S#&$, but is new content so here you have and you must play it. And then make it "mandatory" to play in order to get important stuff as new warframes can be. Desertion is just a concept bad implemented where the npc's that you are supposed to scort go by their own to die. They fly away far from his group and they just still going forward even when they are supposed to "need protection". You can't interact with them at all, you can't give them real orders (regroup, follow YOU), they can't cross nova's portals, they can't get extra speed from volt, they get stucked on walls and die without you being able to do anything about it becouse they lose health overtime becouse need to be near the life support (when we have always gone with life supports and they cover the whole area as far as we know), and going solo is like a torture where the developers seems to be laughing on us, because it becomes twice slower, boring and disgusting. If they want to make a good job, they should just rework it, becouse it can be understanded as a concept, but not as a mision. And it's not for nothing that I like the game and I want it to get better, that I let off steam like this. Because honestly, I can't define this as anything other than a bad experience, and I don't think a game of this caliber should have this kind of bad experiences and bad content. (PSN)thecoolman575
the only content in the game where i have a problem with that is on arbitration defence, but for real though since you can’t make the defence operative stay in one place you will probably lose 20+ if you don’t have a healer... there is also ancient healer specters being super hard to move around which is annoying Edited June 10, 2019 by (PS4)thecoolman575
YazMatazO
Or... you know... you could play Trinity, Loki, or Oberon. Defection can be quite fun in it's own little way.
16Bitman
It's called Defection. They can cross Nova portals.

Bring a properly modded Oberon, press 3, and let the game play itself for you. For 4 years of gameplay, you didn't know this?
Amazerath
It seems like your priority was not to protect the deserters but to make them reach their goal as quickly as possible. That is not the same as protecting or escorting, which is what this mission type expects you to do.

I can solo the lower level ones without too much trouble, as its easy to take care of the mobs, so they don't kill the defectors. Anything past Mars though I do with a team - again very few problems as long as you can kill the enemies quick enough.

It's okay. the pathfinding on the defectors is still total pants though. It's everything wrong with pet pathfinding, turned up to eleven and then multiplied by the fact that you can fail the mission when too many of them get stuck and keep trying to go through a locked door that leads to literally nowhere. Loki is the de facto prime debugger of Defection 😄
Viges
Best part is when they get stuck in some hole and you can't do sh*t. But who needs to fix "old content". AMIRIGHT? 🙄 Edited June 10, 2019 by Viges
Bagadyr
Its slow mode but trinity makes it easy. Heal defectors, gain energy from enemies, heal defectors and so on. Just like using limbo to complete ambulas mission. It becomes really easy
