Help for charging lures?

Question

I think I've got everything down for Trinity, except the final phase of Gantulyst where ("Sentients rush to the Eidolons aid, healing it") At the start of this phase I have six lures, usually 1-2 of them are charged. I run around like mad looking for Voms but only find a couple. The Eidolon stands up... and still only 2 charged lures. Wtf why did this never happen when I played as Volt or Harrow? lol What I really need is at least 4 charged lures.

So I watch a couple 6x3 POV videos of Trinity. In each one during this phase the trinity just sits there in void mode, doing nothing and seemingly like magic, all 6 lures get charged before the Gantulyst stands up. Now I'm really confused.

So that leads me here to the forums, is there something I'm missing?

You should always stay in void mode and conserve your charges for eidolon shield phases if you're a madurai void strike user. The lure charging duty should be done by your other squad mates, you're not suppose to shoot vomvys with your charged void strikes.

I'm always playing it 2man with my partner so he shoots those vomvy on eidolon healing phases while I charge void strike. On a 4man team tho, AFAIK, void strike users take turns in charging. I guess you have to coordinate with your squad to shoot vomvys when you're charging vs.

Ignore them.... Charge Up Void Strike while thats happening and as soon as Garry becomes vulnerable again just find Chroma/Volt, Stand Next to Them and Shoot.

Do you have Blazing Dash ? This can help with Charging the lures.... also tell your team mates shoot shoot the Vomvalysts with their Weapon's instead of their Amps... this makes it easier for the lures to suck them up.

If they do out right kill the vomvalysts then they will drop a charge on the ground.... you need to pick it up and manually insert it into the Lures.

After snapping off the last limb off each eidolon.... it will go down... vomvalysts will spawn directly underneath it when it goes down... plenty of time to charge the lures. As it gets up again it will spawn yet another group of Vomvalysts directly underneath it.

I charge the lures just by Blazing Dashing over the eidolon's body over and over and over again... any Vomvalysts caught in the flames will be forced into Ghost Form and then the lures will suck them in....

These spawns are guaranteed.... take advantage of them 😉

In most cases we will have all 8 Lures charged by the time Terry Goes down....

Chroma doesnt help you thats it, he need kill voms after last joint and while standing(well you can blazing dash these but chroma doesnt need effort for it). Also you can void dash to sky and see where voms come while healing phase. After all pre charge at teralyst can help.

Actually 3 need to be charged for Gantulyst and Hydrolyst. From someone that uses Trinity for Tridolon Solo and in a Team, the Vomvalyst can be weird with their spawn rate but Hydrolyst makes their spawns much faster than the other two.

The reason why OP wants atleast 4 Charged Lures for the Gantulyst Rather than just 3 is because he wants 1 Charged lure left over (after the capture) so the team can immediately Destroy the Hydrolyst's First limb before it even makes it out of the lake....

In my Group my team counts on me to have one lure charged specifically for that purpose.

It is everyone's responsibility to charge lures if they see an opportunity to do it. You and other madurai players can blazing/meteoric dash through voms to kill them without spending void strike charges. In pugs you cant expect other people to do this so its mostly on you. During the final downed phase, blazing dash over the eidolon to leave fire trails everwhere. They will kill voms even when you cant see them.

I sometimes also mount up in archwing, float in the middle of the fire trails, itzal 4 (fighter escort) and itzal 3 (cosmic crush) spam to pull all the charge droplets to the lures.

I tend to either: wait for it to sit down, then throw out my Zenistar to damage flyers flocking to it, seems to work, or charge up around the point you pick up lures, though that may waste time.
When I volt I sometimes use his 4 if I have spare energy.

I don't try to amp them for charging.

Not sure, if that's the best strat.
