It's time to let us zoom in/out

Guess why everyone is thirsty for that extra field of view ? Would playing the game through a 180° GoPro be the solution ?

Come on, let's face it, everyone knows it, the camera is far too close to the character model.

Our warframe covers everything, it's awful, and mindblowing that a 6 years old game doesn't have a simple camera zoom option.

What's even more frustrating is that this feature already exists in the game. Yup, just die and watch someone play from the revive screen, the camera is pushed back compared to regular gameplay.

If DE cares about "immersion", a cinematic camera mimic would work just fine, such as leaving a slider to set up a camera zoom-in during specific actions such as melee.

...

I would litteraly pay to have this added at this point

I disagree with this. I have never had an issue with how close the camera is. Not once in five/six years. Don't claim that everyone knows it unless you have evidence.

In saying that, it seems perfectly sensible to let us have a slider for how near/far the camera is from the frame.

It's kinda obvious that i'm referring to people that actually have an issue with the camera, which is why i'm talking about an option to zoom in/out instead of asking for the camera to be pushed back.

Tbh, with the way that certain abilities (wisp sol gate for example) completely take over most of the view so you can't actually see anything, including what you're trying to hit, I doubt that changing the fov would make much difference....

Having said that I would like a little more fov than what we can have.

Slightly off topic: I found that if you change to left shoulder camera (H) you can see quite well when using Sol Gate.

I guess you have a different definition for the word "everyone" than I do.

I got 100% zoom riven for seer, literally i can't see half of the entire view.

Which is fine if you actually like that side (I don't) but that still doesn't change the fact it has a visibility issue for the 'primary' viewing angle

I'd very much like this, myself. Not only is the camera in Warframe set too close to my character, but my character is set too close to the centre, covering a large portion of my field of view. If I could move the camera back a ways, I'd do that in a heartbeat. I mean, MMOs have been doing this since the 90s.

If at all possible, I'd also like the ability to adjust my camera side-to-side and up-and-down relative to my character. I feel my view is set too low to my shoulder, which is part of what causes large weapons and big shoulder pieces to clip into my view too often. DE recently introduced a system by which "if you're aiming at it, you'll hit it so camera offset shouldn't cause too many issues.
