Komorex is still to weak and unusable

While it's a nice design almost all snipers need crit at high levels with a decent base damage over 150 but komorex is the weakest sniper of all even with built in ammo mutation its lack of damage and crit really kill its potential when it needs a riven to be usable could you guys at de buff it by 100 base damage 12%cc and .4x crit damage it's just to weak to really use past level 95

It could use a faster reload speed i guess, but Komorex hurts pretty good tbh.

I was disappointed at it not being a crit weapon too to begin with. After playing with it it's far from weak however.

Not really weak past 95 at all. While i agree theres better snipers or straight up overpowered snipers like Rubico prime the draw of Komorex is its rapid status application and aoe. 

It can handily kill enemies above 120+ when built towards weaknesses

not used it yet, but from what it sounds like as a weapon it seems more intended to fill a DMR (Designated Marksman rifle) type of role than a dedicate sniper rifle, which means it's gonna behave differently to a sniper.

for clarity, a DMR is a Semi-automatic rifle, in a full-size rifle calibre, designed to provide better long range capability than a standard infantry rifle, with fast follow up shots and higher capacity than a "proper" Precision Rifle can offer (but they are typically not suited to extremely long ranges as a result). an example of a DMR would be something like an M14 EBR or Mk11 Mod 0. in real life.

in Warframe, we have the Latron family and Veldt to fulfil this role, as well as the semi-auto fire mode on the Stradavar Family and Tiberon prime. the biggest difference here is that the Komorex uses the Sniper combo system, making it more effective in the long run. it's supposed to be pretty strong, so I would suggest re-examining your build; it may not be Eidolon-Meta material, but Komorex is supposed to be quite good. can't wait to get mine!

The Komorex is an awesome gun, for certain situations.  Basically if you want a way to kill groups of enemies quickly the Komorex is a great option, the second zoom mode with the AoE Viral combined with the (fairly easy to get) 100% status chance means you are reliably trashing everyone's heath pools and hitting them with an AoE of your choice.  It also has the flexibility to shoot through cover if you switch the zoom mode so you can nab that annoying enemy who is lurking somewhere.  The ammo mutation is the icing on the cake as it removes the need to take carrier with you.

What it is not good for is Eidolon hunts, but then there are already several great options for that, so having an anti-personnel rifle as opposed to another big crit anti-vehicle one isn't really a problem.

The Komorex has been my go to for open world content for some time now and it has not let me down yet.

Tbh there are so many ways to add crit chance nowadays you can get komorex easily to crit viability. 

IE:

- Harrow (which incidentally also sinergises very well with the gun due to +firerate and +reload speed) 

- Nidus 1st augment (another frame that uses the Komorex very well due to the gathering properties of Larva) 

- Arcane Avenger

- Rivens

- Adarza Kavat

 

Remember this is not a conventional sniper but an AoE DMR so even at 50ish crit chabce it still works perfectly fine.

The weapon is not bad, but you are. Make a proper build and play it in the 3rd mode.
