As for all the cry babies, grow up and stop being a lily livered panisse. If DE is trying something new by releasing across all platforms at once, let them! How do you know it would not be buggy/broken on any other version once released into the wild? There is only so much testing ANY developer can do and they cannot catch everything before release.  I have only recently picked the game back up this past January after roughly four and a half years since initially stopping, so I am not 100% knowledgable on everything since intial release. What I do know is this: computer coding is extremely complex.  It is not just something to be thrown together overnight and guaranteed to work right away. Then add the multiple platforms into the mix and what works on one or two,  may not work on all four. 

Players need to wake up and realise just what it takes to create a game. Perhaps if EVERYONE was required to work retail for at least one year (15+ years myself), then learn basic coding on a now ancient Apple II+ computer (I learned that in 8th grade, and mac's in 11th -1996 era machines) they would be more appreciative in general, not to mention have a genuine appreciation for what goes into a game, even without having 1/1,000th the knowledge current programers and designer's do. 

 

In conclusion,  give the DE team a break, and show some appreciation for everything they are GIVING us now, and in less than a month with TennoCon.

It's very unlikely that this is an issue at all, provided they use a system similar to the account transfer system.

Because the Resources were already on your account, they just got unlocked when the Fortuna update dropped back then 🙂

Wow I would have never thought that PC players were so desperate for (what should basically be for them at this point) a forma farm event. Honestly, this is the first time I ever play this event and that's all it's gonna be for me, a mission that i'm gonna run hundreds of time to get forma and maybe some exodia arcanes....

Most of them are salty that they have to wait for it to roll out with the consoles. I don't know WHY they're angry. It's a boring event if you want my honest opinion. Only really good for...as you stated...a forma farm.

I don't know why some many of the PC players here take console tenno for granted, as I mentioned in another thread, PC tenno aren't the only ones carrying this game. We're all lifting together. That said, releasing Plague Star on the other  platforms, and just extending Xbox's event duration would be the best solution here, but someone else posted it's also PC having issues. Whether thats true or not, we may never know.

Megan replied to someone on Twitter that PC also was having issues. She also mentioned this in the initial post on this thread. People cannot read or simply choose not to comprehend that this isn't JUST an Xbox issue. It's a progression issue on more than one platform.

the bug report section does exist for a reason if you didnt know yet but of course, go on complaining and acting disrespectful.

It was worse when the first few hotfixes dropped, constantly respawning when the platform fell down in the ropalolyst fight while you were standing on the platform with the reactor.

The console players dont know how it is like getting a brandnew mainline, and then testing it with kind of heavy bugs.
Yeah sure you need to wait up to 1month for a mainline update, but atleast its not gamebreaking.

Doesnt work like that, Steam has a contract with DE and the Tennogen Creators., its purchaseable on console with plat because there is no Steam.

Its understandable we all wanna have  some events asap, its kinda human nature. From a while their deadline seems off,  We lived tru a rly DE;ayed content, Excal Umbra, cant remember when it was  1st announced, The Wait Within (War Within). I dont rly see here a big issue, WAnna have  at least better worked content than buggy one, but some of them are unavoidable, nothing is perfect as well as nobody. It come up eventually, there is always a work for us Tenno to take care off.

Yeah, it seems most of them read the bare minimum of the post, then posted their rage. It's pretty disappointing to watch the reactions of some of these community members, for heavens sake, Plague Star will arrive eventually, waiting a little wont kill you. The only ones I sympathise with, are the people who took time off of work to play Plague Star.

Because when they don't give out release dates and they say "soon", people get upset about that (hence all of the "Soon™" memes that people keeping making in this community).

There are always pple like that in every  game, the more popular game become the higher risk for them to appear, yet is til like  Wf comminicy, over games i used to know like vindictus or especially LoL. few pple wont affect entire communicity while  it become well known  . So i wanna to believe folks

I have no sympathy for them either, tbh. Warframe is a GAME. If you "burned" a vacation day to play a game, that's not really DE's fault. They should have anticipated a delay since bugs always crop up when they're least expected or desired and planned accordingly.

Clearly not the pros at calling in sick. Knowing events start around 2pm est why wouldn't you just take the following day off. There is no leader board and from what I remember it is longer than what most people can take off. So...

Oh definitely, that's the price of becoming popular with the masses. I'm mostly disappointed since the community here is so nice, and yet these types still crop up just to sow seeds of negativity.  But still, and there are lot of players who are good, but simply don't post on the forums.

I see what you mean, it's unfortunate this happened, but it was still their decision to use a vacation day to play a game. And you never really know, I was certain Plague Star would drop today, probably because it's always gone up without a hitch.

I feel bad for them, probably because I also obsess over missing out on specific events or alerts and want everything atleast half done day one, but I've been working on taking a more relaxed approach towards games. They are games after all.
