Is primed reach worth it?

I've never used the basic one since in all of the games that i've played where you can increase your melee range it was mostly pointless so i didn't even tried. Old forum posts are also pre-3.0 melee and i have no idea how exactly it affected the game (i wasn't playing for about a year), the only new thing i've noticed in my gameplay is that you can't anymore switch to your melee like you do with pistols and slam mechanic is a little different.

Yes because weapons like the cyath polearm with prime reach have a hotbox that's 20-30 feet wide.

You get weapons with 2 metres or so of reach, any percentage added to that is significant.

No its terrible.... who on earth would want a mod that adds some much needed consistency to your weapon's attacks ?

That was Sarcasm BTW.... Primed Reach is great.... so.... you know.... Get it twice.... just in case....

For me, Primed Reach (PR) is like Magicks when I use my Othro Prime PoleArmy with it installed. It takes down things 20 meters beyond the radius of my swings. Sometimes I think a "Number 4 Only" player is behind me... nope just me and muh PoleArmy. 😉  (And I do not have PR maxed either.)
