Vulkar Wraith for Eidolons? (for Trinity)

Hey,

today i just dropped Vulkar riven and I'm curious if I can use that for Eidolon Hunt. I play only Trinity so shooting with sniper is not that big deal for me, everything is doin Chroma, but sometimes I have to shoot.. I already have Lanka CC and CD riven, but the Lanka is not that my cup of tea..

P.S.: Ik how riven should look like, I have no problems to roll it, I just want to know if that weapon is worth it or should i transmute it

I use vulkar as its the only sniper riven I own its not bad but doesnt do much I feel like lanka is better, I have not tried lanka cause no forma to burn so cant really compare

I know that Lanka has better CC, but im playing with adarza almost everywhere (not kuva flood ofc) so CC is not my enemy..but thx for reply, I'll keep it in mind 😊

Bottomline is Vulkar Wraith is almost always going to fall short of Rubico P or the Lanka.

 

Rubico P has the highest base Crit Mult of all Sniper Rifles, reloads a whole second quicker than the Vulkar Wr. and gets an additional +50% Crit multi on zoom in.

Lanka has great base damage typing for an easy set up in Rad damage. Highest base damage of all Sniper Rifles on charge. Can hit 112.5% crit chance with a Point Strike and the +50% crit chance bonus from the zoom in.

I'm not going to go as far as to say the Vulkar Wraith isn't viable Eidolon hunting, but it's definitely outclassed.

With a great Riven on the Vulkar Wr you might be able to atleast keep up.

If its not holding you back and you really don't like The Lanka then use Vulkar...

If it was up to me I'd be using a Bow....

Vulkar wraith is one of the weapons I put in For fun list when used for eido hunt. I'd use them whenever I'm bored of META weapons. Some of them are Tiberon prime and Latron Prime.

I mean, they kill.

I have a riven for every sniper, and my Vulkar riven is one of the best rivens I have with 212% cc and 238% dmg.  Sorry to say, but in my experience, even with this riven the Vulkar Wraith falls way short of my unrivened Lanka (my lanka riven sucks so I don't use it) or my Rubico P with a 117% dmg and 75% ms riven.  The zoom bonus on the Vulkar isn't as useful as the other two snipers for Eidolons, and just falls short in terms of damage.  With the 8x zoom though, it's useful on the plains for popping those kill enemy 100m away challenges lol

Yes, if you can get the Critical Hit Chance up, Vulkar Wraith is a beast for Eidolons. Slot Lasting Purity and your Riven and you will find yourself outperforming lots of Rubico Prime users (a very overrated sniper)! Though, Lanka is a beast all on its own! Hard to top that...
