Can we have back the ability to not use a discount?

With the new market UI (on console) discount vouchers appear to be automatically applied.

This means that if you have a voucher you can't buy anything for credits until you use it (unless you want to waste a voucher on something you can buy for credits).

In the old interface we could choose which purchase we wanted to apply our voucher to, could we have that back please?

The new UI is obviously designed thinking of PC only.

and on PC, these Gift of Lotus Coupons don't exist; instead they have platinum sales.

Thus the designers totally forgot to add in functionality to handle the Coupons...

DE seriously needs to assign a Console specialist to their UI design team...

I could still use my coupon, even if it was way harder and more confuse than before.

And on that note I must agree. The UI ends up being console friendly, but only after complaining a lot. I remember when the first UI change happened, when it became universal, we had no shortcuts using the controller's buttons. No "press triangle" to access a frame's mod menu, no "press square" to access appearance. We had to do it using only the cursor, just like the market right now. Which is annoying.

This one really upset my son - he was saving his coupon to buy wisp - not having enough plat to pay full price, then bought a weapon blueprint for credits that consumed his coupon.

Lucky for him I have plenty of plat and bought wisp for him

I nearly did the same - it's way too easy in the new interface, especially when you used to have to opt-in to use the coupon.
