Graphics Driver crash blanking the game screen.

sometimes when I crash in the game it's just simply graphics driver alone and it doesn't take the rest of the game with it. This results in a windowed screen just simply blanking to a white out yet controls and sound are fully operational as the graphics driver reboots on windows 7. You can still technically play but it would have to be done so blind. Could a chat command be added to reinitialize the game graphics in such situations in a manner similiar to the /unstuck command for dealing with terrain holes? Only way otherwise to fix such a thing mid mission without losing your squad is to task manager end task the game and reboot the game.

Wouldn't it be easier if you just made a clean reinstall of your graphics driver?
