Infested Purestrain

I've thought the Infested are due to be explored and I've thought of some ways to give the infested an augmented roster of units to fight. Boilers and broodmothers are the closest I've seen to what the Infested may be attempting to resemble. They are not ancients (That I know of) and may just simply be a more independent biological structure to the majority of infested. What I think would be really cool is to see what the Infested would be without a scaffold to alter per se. 

I've always like the maggots but I feel they don't really pose a threat or do anything interesting. What if maggots could morph into a second stage of life after draining their victim of a certain amount of health? I imagine that there are a lot of cool things you could do with this idea: Maggots morph into an aggressive and hardy powerhouse that would add some real difficulty to any mission where Tenno fail to stop the maggots from draining a victim or themselves.
