I'd like to know what kinds of weapons or builds are good for taking down the hemocytes with relative ease.

fast fire rate and crit builds. mod for corrosive and usea sarpa with shattering impact to take out it's armor

Speedruns use speed/portal nova, a sidearm that’s mostly pyrana Prime modded for blast with 165+90, Sarpa, Amesha/Itzal and a primary for clearing mobs such as Sobek+acid shells+molecular Prime, which can basically send the hemocyte out after one shot.

Titania is not the fastest but she is the safest option, being able to ignore all the ground hazards and dish out a stream of damage from a good distance away. Most Hemocyte attacks cannot hit her anyway.

Of course you can't really go wrong with Chroma or Rhino.

using Shattering Impact to remove Armor and then making use of Corrosive Damage is a good place to start.

if you want more than that, then look for Weapons with good Crit Stats.
and then Weapons with a good balance of Base Damage and Rate of Fire.

if you want more than that, add Warframe Abilities that will increase the Damage that you deal. only ones that increase your overall Damage, and are applied to Players rather than to Enemies.

 

if your Weapons have a lot of free Mod Slots, chasing the Corrosive Damage with Blast Damage could provide useful Damage (especially as a Secondary Weapon but that will require Primed Heated Charge, which was already mentioned) depending on how Weapon __ scales with Mods.

If you're doing it alone then I say use Nova or Titania.... 

If you're on a group then theres a variety of options.

Really taking down the Hemocyte isn't an issue for well equipped players due the absurd level of Power Creep were at now....

The only thing that's going to slow you down is speeding up the Purge.... a Large Scale Nuke Warframe can help with Chain Summoning each Hemocyte...

I mean.... The Hemocyte is vulnerable to Nova's 4, Rhino's Stomp.... and even Harrow's 1.... soooo yeah.... GO HAM !!!!

Rapid fire crit weapons, things like the tenora and soma prime and anything else similar in mechanics.
Titania augmented with Razorwing Blitz pretty much trivialises the fight.

The only damage types of worth are Slash, Corrosive and Blast, anything else works ofc but the mentioned 3 should be preferred.
Slows work very well, nova's molecular prime, rhino stomp and nekros augmented with creeping terrify work really well.

If you're running the Hemocyte battle during the day, Mirage's Eclipse can add on a significant amount of damage as well.
