(XBOX)EternalDrk Mako Posted June 16, 2019 Share Posted June 16, 2019 the weapon has a good disposition riven wise, but for a prime weapon it is very bad stats and is impact/puncture no slash (how does that even work on a dagger? ) honestly okina greatly beats it as is, so im suggesting perhaps to increase the weapons status/crit ,provide it slash and attack speed maybe? -but seriously its a blade, it makes zero sense it has no slash damage Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dual daggers are straight up broken. Awful stances, all the disadvantages of daggers but slower and without Covert Lethality. I think to fix dual daggers they need to change the weapon type drastically - if a single dagger is the assassin's choice the dual needs to be something else. Maybe add loads of momentum, a ton of speed and stances that close distances for quick kills with high combo hits. If they do fix dual daggers in melee 3 Ether Daggers already has the mostly-slash slot (and is the best weapon in the category). They'd have to do something else with Fang. The reason it had 0 slash damage was that back in the day Puncture ignored armor, and it was an incredibly good weapon. Once the damage system changed, this weapon alongside others got left in the dust due a lack of a proper rebalance. IIRC DE already recognized Fang Prime (and probably Dakra Prime) as part of the weapons that needed some love. I'm sure the Melee pass will give it better life. Want slash in a dual dagger? Go Ether. Want puncture? Go Fang. That too 🙂 But, here's the constructive bit: they need to redesign dual daggers entirely, or they're just slower daggers (ie useless). But indeed DE should consider a shift in damage as well as a good passive for this one. remember when ether daggers bypassing armor as an innate mechanic ? then that was removed, kinda felt like it was full circle again. though puncture vs armor bypass is something they have stated in the IPS rework as a thing possibly returning im kind of mixed on that but it would be nice for some puncture weapons honestly given that the rework of melees is in the horizon, i can only hope it and many others are on the list are are getting a rebirth of stats Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
