So if the synapse rifle really does have 50% crit chance than with maxed point strike you're at 125% chance to crit... then include multi shot and you are at 237.5% crit chance my question is.. What does this even do? Every hit will be a crit plus 37.5% more?

130% chance to crit is still 100% crit, it's not like multi shot that fires an extra bullet.

It would probably spill over into the chance of red crits (usually quite rare). so 100% crit chance with a higher chance of doing super damaging red crits.
